Oh gawd, no. Star Wars Kinect? NONONONONONNOO

Doesn't look too shabby. It's a Kinect game that the casual audience would want to play. It's also the best looking.

I love that these games are supporting Kinect. The core games just add the option to use it, and does not change anything to the core game. I am going to buy a Kinect now after seeing ME3 and Ghost Recon. Voice commands in ME3 will be great.

My post disappeared, but the basics were that while MS didn't embarrass themselves with too many ludicrous stunts, this was one of the worst major conferences I've seen simply because they showed almost nothing of any value that we weren't already aware of. Usually when Sony or Nintendo screws up a conference there is at least a Mario alxy 2 or a Killzone 3 and a few other decent announcements to round things out. This was just totally Kinect-focused.

Star Wars Kinect actually looked ok. They need to work on the responsiveness and a good block mechanic that jedi kept taking lasers to the face. That is one dumb Jedi. Parry that crap. Graphics look good call me impressed. 7/10Image IPB

Arkham city looks great, can't wait to play it. Though they aren't really showing much new so far.

Where is the "4" in Halo 4 coming from? This is a new Trilogy no? It isn't the fourth Halo game.

Whats wrote on the box, and your playing as MC with Cortona, but just a guess but that world I'm thinking is Onyx. So you'll see other spartan's yay!

And I think by new Trilogy new events take place. Sorta like Star Wars eps 1-3  4-6.

Also Skyrim, happy I reserved it now.

There were some impressive moments in Star Wars Kinect and some that just looked clunky. With enough polish it could be fun, but not fun enough to justify buying a Kinect.

I'm waiting till the collector's edition of SKyrim is announced before I reserve it.

The Arkham City demo could have been better. Though I gotta say, I'm impressed by the detail of the city.

I think it equals The Witcher's 2 graphics in terms of character models

Yes Arkham City reminds me of Pacific City in Crackdown. It looks like it's going to be a great place to get my winged vampire rat fix.

After seeing CoD:MW3 trailer, I might get it. It is brilliant to experience France and England in COD.

i give Microsoft a 7/10

there were 3 major things Microsoft needed to do: 1) justify the kinect to the core and give the core more games, 2) expand on the kinect audience and 3) differentiate themselves from everybody else

on #1 Microsoft dropped the ball i think, Kinect really only resonated with Ghost Recon but was still incomplete, ME3's kinect demo was underwhelming as was star wars Kinect (and who wasn't disappointed to see that crytek game using kinect?), traditional games wise Gears 3 was already a known quantity before E3 as was MW3, Tomb Raider looked really good and Halo CE Remake was great too, but they lost potential on stuff like Forza 4 which had a woefully short trailer (no Stig?)... i think halo 4 should've made a bigger splash if it wasn't already leaked

on #2 i think they did exactly what they needed to do with Kinect to expand that audience, they made Dance Central 2 what everybody wanted out of the first game, Kinect Sports 2 looks good, Fun Labs should be cool, and kids will love the disney/sesame street stuff, they also finally made using Kinect Dashboard something of its own experience talor made for people who want that kind of experience, so for the most part i think Microsoft nailed it on this front (tho i think next year kinect needs more than just refinement)

for #3, i think they needed to lower the price of the 360 to take some of the wind from Nintendo's big announcement or do something in the mobile space, regardless Microsoft's push for "Kinect doing what Nintendon't" leaves something to be desired in the long run because it's something they've been talking about for 3 years in a row now, granted they unveiled their hardware last year but especially with Nintendo unveiling new hardware you need to give something for people to remember you by which i didn't think they did

in conclusion, Microsoft nailed it with Kinect's audience, but didn't really succeed with the challenge of winning over core gamers and didn't necessarily do anything to grab your attention in the grand scheme of this year's E3, competent but not brilliant basically

Tomb Raider looks awesome btw

Prototype 2 eh? Prototype 1 was alright, I didn't think it deserved a sequel though, we'll see how this one goes.

So Modern Warfare 3.... nothing really graphically improved, however the campaign looks interesting. It better have Price and Soap in the game, I'm dead serious.

As much as I hate Modern Warefare and FPS I must say the game looks like a billion dollars. Hats off to Infinity Ward for a great showing.

Really? All I really saw was MW2 but with updated character models. The only real highlight in gameplay is that you can scope down a grenade launcher.

So far, the only thing the campaign has going for it is the cinematics. As for the story(since when were the Russians so prepared to wage war against the entire planet?), I don't think it'll have much of it. The catch is that World War 3 is happening, but it's just the cliched American vs. Russian plot. This isn't the 1980s.
