Either will sink and bring them down, or we'll demand they change. China is a long term thinking nation as are its people, and not as vain as western populance's are. Money isn't everything, And China wants its slice of the pie, and it pisses them and Russia off how America is the worlds policeman. Take into account the die down of resources and china cutting back on various exports to the west, its clear a confretation will happen, or a new cold war, thus is the nature of man.
But on topic so that this isn't locked, we can keep this going in PM, however Seen the ME:3 trailer and
DAMN YOU BIOWARE YOU TEASE! I so wanted to see how that reaper fight went.

Edit: Also, as for the two-child policy, it mostly has to do with tradition and family issues. During the 1970s, families were encouraged to have two children so that there would be one child to tend the family.

So TOR's presence at the conference can be summed up as "I can't say enough about it, so I'll say nothing and show you old footage". Outstanding.
Your right, that was a pretty weak announcement.

Let's hope that the new CGI trailer for Star Wars: The Old Republic isn't as facepalm-inducing as the Hope trailer.
Just out of curiousity what issue did you have with the Hope trailer?

It was one child policy to start with, they are doing away with the legacy left by Mao and his ****** poor planning, plus a heavy male to female imbalance. Also the growth of India and increasingly US ally worries the Chinese and if not for the policy being slowly reversed would outnumber them in the event of war, which they have had several, My wife's parents are from China, so they tend to talk alot on these issues, and China only has 10% of our Debt. And its not that reason at all its political namely, and long term planning, and an international concern that America can't pay its bills. Plus the Chinese still have a problem with that period of time the west forgets that it humiiliated the nation. As I said long term thinking, and if you reply to this again I won't reply back, as I said take it to PM please.Capt. Obvious wrote...
China already owns us. They already have a lot of economic power. They're also one of the biggest nations on the Earth. Also, they're cutting down on exports because the debt is piling up.

Anyways once more on topic.

Why they chose to show snippets of this interspersed throughout old footage instead of just showing us the new cinematic is baffling, but there it is.

1. When the soldiers jumped off the cliff and directly confronted the Sith troops when they had rapid-fire laser guns and machine rocket launchers. Why were the soldiers with guns running up to the enemy? Why did they jump off the cliff when they had the higher ground? It just doesn't make much sense, I'm sorry.
2. Force Hadouken!

What you say about China is true. But those are mostly military advantages you're talking about. China's history isn't enough to make them start a war. They still rely on the Western world and a lot of people there have family here. As for the TOR trailers, I think they're nice, but they dropped the ball with the Hope trailer for reasons that I stated above.
