seeing as kinect is using mainly voice command. Will pc be able to do the same thing with a microphone? The common hardware seems to be a microphone.....

I, too, am wondering this considering I will be playing ME3 on PC and not Xbox. Are the voice command Kinect features only on the Xbox 360 version of ME3?

Yeah don't understand why wouldn't be able to do it. Will be pretty neat for them tough situations when saying it easier than clicking another button to do it.

See more a use for it in the combat scenarios than saying the line on the dialog wheel though.

Agreed. Although I can see easier/better immersion when you're saying the paraphrases...might become annoying after several pts, though, but you still have the option to choose them with a controller. We'll see, I guess.

I don't even see the use of the Kinect if it's just voice commands, the XBOX has a microphone.

agreed,Whole point of kinect was for movement tracking not voice command... which means me being a greedy pc player wants the same use of the microphone

I am going to say I'm agreeing with you because it makes this not look like a shameless bump.

All this brouhaha for this stupid gimmick? This "revolutionary" feature can be an XBox exclusive for all I care. Who the hell uses voice commands in a single player game?

Ghost Recon would like to have a word with you. (That **** didn't work at all)
But still, I disagree. Yelling out squad commands would be super-immersive. Something ME2 lacked.

Each to their own I guess.

I just can't imagine myself saying "I love you Jacob" in 3.00 AM whilst playing with my femshep.

LOL. I didn't really consider the femshep thing.  That's understandable.

Also, I'd bet the voice support for PC will be announced at the EA thing. Maybe they felt it was out of place for the 360 show.

The xbox(not the 360) version of rainbow six 3 had this feature with the default microphone. Telling your team "breach and clear", "hold", etc was a nice touch, but that was back in 2003. It's hardly a kinect only thing. Kinect is a gimmick IMO.

I'll be getting ME3 on the PC regardless.
