I realize that this forum is for KOTOR 1, but I could use some K2 tech support. Whenever I try to install the game on my windows seven computer, the install crashes around the third disc, giving me a brief error message and exiting out automatically, can anyone help me?

Obsidian developed the game, and Lucas provided the official support. Bioware had nothing to do with it, other than providing the engine. There was never any KotOR 2 forum on the old, Legacy Forum site, and none here. You need to visit either Lucas or Obsidian.

Your disc may be scratched

If it's not scratched, it's defective in some other way. I'm having problems with Battlefront 1 and Republic Commando installing... I know... totally different developer... but LucasArts' site says that all their games are on warranty for 90 days from purchase and if no receipt is available or it's past the warranty period, you can send your old disc in with a $5 replacement fee and get a new one. Check out this page: http://yodashelpdesk...d=1459&pnm=Star Wars Battlefront&seid=&pos=Windows XP&top=Installation&rid=22615

I dunno If whomever posted is still interested but I have win 7 64bit and had a similar problem [Crashed around disc 2]. The way I fixed it is a bit awkward and you may not have this option but it's worth a punt if you do. I installed the game to my external hard drive using my old win xp desktop and then cracked the executable[if you don't know how to do this you can ask]. I then plugged my external drive into my new PC and played the game off that. Alternatively If it is the disc I have another suggestion but if might be even more out there than this one. Good luck.
