BioWare is very pleased to announce the release date for Mass Effect 3. Mass Effect 3 will be available for the PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 beginning on on March 6, 2012.

Not everyone will survive. In Mass Effect 3, an ancient alien race known only as “Reapers”, has launched an all-out invasion of the galaxy, leaving nothing but a trail of destruction in their wake. Earth has been taken, the galaxy is on the verge of total annihilation, and you are the only one who can stop them. The price of failure is extinction. You, as Commander Shepard, must lead the counter assault to take it back. Only you can determine how events will play out, which planets you will save from annihilation and which alliances you will form or abandon as you rally the forces of the galaxy to eliminate the Reaper threat once and for all.

March is good. That'll hopefully give me time to finish DA:O on the pc, then DA2, which I haven't played yet. I also need to make a male ME/ME2 playthrough on the Xbox and a female ME/ME2 on the pc to be ready for ME3. I'm not sure I'll manage though... so little time. Also, nice E3 show, guys!

Just seen some extended gameplay on gametrailers with casey hudson! Looks Simply Stunning! EA really do have some great games coming out in the next year! Can't wait for this, although why March

Sounds like the player gets to rebuild the galaxy in his/her own image.
