I hope the delay is to polish the game and not about picking a good time. The longer it takes, the less money bioware will probably see, given that the economy will be worse by then and the customer base is in western countries.

LOL, unless the world ends in 2012 I don't think the economy will drop so drastically, so that nobody in the world will buy this game anymore ( the economy rise and falls, people who still believe it is an ever uphill motion are deluding themselves -and others probably -).
I think the game is damn well near finished , if not entirely finished.
I think the reason EA/Bioware is postponing this release is because of other and possibly bigger titles that are coming up ( battlefield for instance)and that they need to spread their releases over a number of months

If they change something I really hope that they will drop the indoctrination of cerberus( i heard some random banter of shepard during a gameplay demo, which suggested heavily that Cerberus was indoctrinated) and instead make it so that TIM has a place where they can shelter for the reapers and when every species is taken by them they emerge as the dominant specie( meaning humanity)..

I love it when game developers push back games. Usually means that they need more time to work or polish the game, meaning more fun. I hate it when they just rush it to get to the release date.

In this case they clearly pushed the release date back to accommodate extra features in it that aren't really necessary (i.e. Kinect).

I have no idea if they want to put in kinect or not.

I would prefer that they take their time and polish the game so that its at least up to par with ME2.  Spending more time means that they are focusing on getting it right rather than simply churning out a product  for profits.

Seven?  What calender are you using?  Since today is now the 8th, we have less than six months.  By my count it is 5 months, 28 days, 22 hours, and 28 minutes.
