If the answer is "No" then they dont fix it. I am sure it will be noted for the next version and fixed for that so it doesn't happen again though.

Its simple. They just weight the costs. If only a relative small handful of people are seeing this issue compared to all that have bought it (IE they sold 1 million copies but 300 people are seeing the save corruption issue) is it worth the development/testing/release time and money to fix it?

I've never had any problem with corrupted saves, and I've been through 4 characters totaling 150+ Hours... I always save after an auto save, however, so that could help too.

i see ALOT of crying in this thread, understandably yeh, i can see the frustration but id love to see some of the whiners here create a game on this scale with no flaws.
Ive lost a level 25 warrior totaling almost 130 hours gameplay....., as annoying and 'heartbreaking' as it was, one flaw in over 125 hours woth of gaming time is still way more than my moneys worth. i mean cmon, u pay 40 quid for a game like modern warfare 2 and u get 5 hours out of it? u get raped on multiplayer and u start again..... ive had 130+ hours out of DAO, and still the chance to get more out of it with another origin story.
The problem has been acknowledged and a fix is being worked on. Deal with it.
Not to mention that id love someone to give me a game name that isnt in someway broken, EVERY game ive ever played has had some sort of cheat, glitch, typo and whatever in it. No game is perfect yet i dont see people crying over other games. Maybe their problems go so unnoticed by the whiners because the game is so small and crappy that no-one even notices the mistakes because they are so bored playing them. DAO is a substantially large game and tbh, anyone with any ounce of gaming history or common sense should have expected that there could be problems like this....
Yea this game has quite a few glitches, like sound sounding like it's in the background, loading blackness (where the map hasn't fully loaded) no sound at all for text, and so on. BUT no one complains about those, and if they did, they'd probably blame Bioware for it just like the glitch this thread is about.TyrasDarkblade wrote...

Absolutely don't like the having to go to system dashboard. Its definitely not just glitching, saves or overloading though. I am aware of this because I don't cheat and I've had characters go bad before I've even sold a single item while I have only a save or two going. Unless selling in other characters effects the ability to correctly use new ones. I don't know but otherwise none of the listed reasons happen that early.
