A fix is supposedly in the works.

Here's the link to the gamespot forums discussing the fix. I can't find the actual post on the Bioware website itself about the fix.

It was announced in the beginning of June. It's almost the end of June. My game gets here from Amazon in 6 days.

Hello there, Xbox 360 user here.



I've been playing this game off and on for several weeks now; I won't lie, it's more than addicting, and entirely emotionally immersive.



However, I have also run across the Corrupted Save file issue, just this afternoon, much to my dismay.



I've never enacted any of the aforementioned glitches, so clearly the trader/stock overload isn't the problem here.



I downloaded two items of DLC just a few days ago, but didn't play it. I then played DA: O with no particular problems yesterday (with a new character; I didn't test the existing ones), and accepted the "update" for the game from Xbox Live.



Only today did I decide to play one of my previous files (I had completed the game and hoped to utilize the costly DLC), only to find it, and the others, corrupted. Now, it's important to note that I am not currently connected to Xbox Live, and I wonder if the problem might be solved by playing it while connected. Or is it the downloading of the update or DLC that has caused the issue?



All I know is I'm quite disappointed, but not forlorn;

a) it's a video game.

B) I'm sure some sort of solution will arise eventually.

Hey, guys, me again.

So, I deleted a character (my friend's) save off of my hard drive; note: it was NOT the most recently created file.

This seems to have fixed the issue. :) I am joyous once more!
