why have achievement issues at the top of the list for the consles when there is one BIG problem with Game-Breaking issues?!?!?!? Wouldn't logic state that you tackle the biggest/worst problem, first? After all, what good does fixing the achievements issue do when you lose your save files and/or encounter another game-breaker such as the Ogre (not spawning) problem in Redcliff after the Landsmeet questline? Both of these problems should take precident, or do you disagree and believe all our time is being wasted on this game, unless we get those damn achievement issues fixed first?
Also, where is all the "support" from BioWare/EA.. each tells us to contact the other or to post on these forums... hello? we're not the qa or developers!! All we've been looking for (for a month, now) is to have somebody (EA/BioWare, I don't give a flying rats-ass which one of you as both have pissed off so many of us) reply to us .. and acknowledge the BIG problems... instead all we heard about was.."oh, sorry Jonny..here we'll fix your meaningless (in the grand scales of these issues) problem. thanks and have a nice day" Don't get me wrong, if the simple ones can be fixed easily, then, BAM.. fixed, thank you. However, my point is that we, the consumers who purchased your product and have encountered the Major GAME-BREAKING issues, have had no "support" or acknowledgement from either BW or EA!!!!!
And.... YES, I do realize that it takes time to complete an update for a game filled with bugs of varying degrees, HOWEVER, it takes but a moment to to simply post an acknowledgement to a problem and openly state that you are aware of it and are/will be working to correct it....It's bad business to completely ignore customers having major problems with your products!

I have to say that the idea that overloading a merchant is probably right; I figured that I would sell everything to Bodahn so that if I ever happened to want it again it would be available at camp. So, of course, his "junk" section was overflowing with stuff. I didn't abuse the Radcliffe crystal glitch, though the Stone Prisoner DLC was active.
I'm still internally debating whether to wait for this supposed patch and see if it salvages corrupted saves, or disable the DLC and start again. In either case, I'm not a happy camper.

Maybe they should take all the money they are spending on advertising the d*** game and use it to fix it!

It's not a technology limitation either, most 360 games have save files of varying sizes. So not cool.

Hi,
Thank you for contacting Electronic Arts.
I can really
understand the frustration you are enduring at the moment for not getting a
timely reply, but please know that we are receiving contacts in high volumes
which is not normal. Rest assured, we are striving our level best to get back to
you as soon as possible. Please accept my honest apologies for the
delay.
I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulties, and apologize
for any inconvenience.
Sometimes certain configurations can conflict with
your game. Set any controller, sound, and video settings to their default
setting. This can be done deleting the game's settings information from the hard
drive. Try playing the game again.
This could also be an issue involving
corrupt game save files. You will need to remove game related save data by
following the below given steps.
1. Power on the Xbox without a game disc
inside to display the Xbox dashboard.
2. Select Memory and press A
3.
Select Hard Disc and press A
4. Scroll through the save games until you find
your specific game.
5. Press the A button while selecting a files to delete
them.
6. Confirm deletion when prompted.
7. Repeat until you no longer see
any of the game files left on the Xbox hard disc.
8. Restart system with game
inside. Try running your game again.
This issue can also be due to any
NON-OFFICIAL Peripherals connected to your console. Please unplug all
non-official peripherals connected to your console. The easiest way to ensure
this is to unplug any peripherals except for the official licensed controllers
that came with the system. This includes any memory cards or network adaptors.
When the console is starting up it will calibrate the controllers. Do not move
the thumb sticks or press any of the buttons until the EA logo
appears.
If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to
reply to this email.
Thank you,
Damien

Clearly, this person didn't even read my question or subsequent follow up comments before responding. I made it very clear that this was a bug in the game and that a significant amount of people were having the same problem. But hey, I guess it really comes down to our third party periphrials doesn't it, not a bug in the game or a dev problem. So let's take the best course of action and delete all of our saved games and settings, yeah that makes sense. Because what better way to resolve an issue of hours and hours of gameplay than to delete all of those hours and just start again and hope it doesn't happen again. Good stuff EA, I'm so impressed.

which is not normal"
It is when you write buggy software that craps all over the end user experience.
Another victim here. I bought the DLC for wardens peak and for getting shale. Everything was fine, except I had been slowly bringing all shop inventory to warden's peak for quick evaluation of items against my entire party.
Apparently, placing too many items into the wardens peak party storage locker, broke the game save. I save often, but since I didn't know I was writing bad game save data, I lost 5 hours of game play as the last 5 saves were completely fubar.
Since I only lost 5 hours, I slowly retraced my steps, doing paranoid saves along the way, then reloading to verify the last save was good before moving along.
I can confirm that putting too many items into the storage locker, causes corruption.
Thanks, EA.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting Electronic Arts Customer
Support.
We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. Unfortunately
at customer support we can only help with issues with the game itself, we cannot
make changes or correct game bugs. You can however report this at the official
forums, so that the game developers can take a note of it and investigate this
further.
Official game forums can be found at the below given link:

If there is anything else we
can help you with please let us know.

That pretty much sums it up people. We're on our own. EA supposedly can't do anything and BioWare isn't doing anything. Congrats to all on getting the shaft.

And we all know the DLC of Blood Armour was horrible, looked like **** and wasn't even useful. Maybe that causes some conflicts too..? No, I am going to contact gaming sites.

But just a slight push-back on the alleged reasons - I was well embedded in the Deep Roads , somewhere between Carrigan's Cross and Ortan Thaig. The ONLY merchant I encounted was the crazed Dwarf, Ruck. I only unloaded my stuff (about 30 pounds worth) one time with him. The corrupt saves happened not too far after that, OR not too much before that. Certainly it didn't happen due to a save in Orzamarr, as I had already done a day or two underground.
So in my case, I don't see the connection to overloading a specific merchant. I do have both DLCs, but not the Dragon Armor, as I was never able to get the code to work (nor did I really care too much to investigate).
There may still be a connection, but the bottom line is I haven't found a previous save that allows me to make new saves now. This issue should be the TOP of the stack requiring fixes, but at a minimum, the ****g company should do the straightforward thing and acknowledge that that's a problem and that they are investigating it - no reason not to at this point.
