So does anyone know if the Mass Effect 3 Uber edition has yet to be announced right? Or was the aforementioned collectors edition the biggest thing they will offer? I'm not complaining but I just want to know before I pre-order.

Are we seriously going to see a Prothean!? Wonder how he survived, was he in cryo stasys? Was he cloned using genetic material from the Collectors and the Thorian? I must know...

Only one minor disappointment... No N7 Assault Rifle...

Does anyone know where/if this Collector Edition can be checked for an order?

I seriously can't stand people complaining about day 1 DLC all the time. A) They did that in Mass Effect 2 so you can't be that surprised. It's not going to be anything that is majorly going to affect gameplay. It's an extra mission to entice people to buy new instead of used. C) The reason I can say that that is all it is is because it's only about $20 more and it's coming with an art book, lithograph, patch, and comic, too. Plus the extra stuff for Xbox Live and the forum. All that is well worth $20. Again, is it a ploy to get you to buy the special edition day one? Yes. Is it worth it? Depends on if you care about that or not. Is it ruining gaming as a media? No.....it's a marketing strategy that gets you a little more bang for your buck. Now, if it was for something that actually affected gameplay, like you don't get the final mission or you won't get a good ending without it, then you'd have right to complain.

The second this thing is labeled to be on Xbox, my money is on the counter.

Also, the Prothean!? Is there still a prothean alive!? What/where/how/who!?

They were confirmed some time ago to come in different sizes... Ranging from 2 km long "dreadnought class" (like Sovereign and Harbinger) to the smaller 500-600m long "cruiser class"...
I'm going to guess we'll mainly see the latter moving groundside as the former are probably too bulky ro move fast on land...

I remember that.The ground ones looked like crusiers(and all the same) At 1:15 I think, That one looked like a dreadnought but that couldve been scaling.Hopefully those each have a unique look like at the end of ME2.

So why should I appreciate that
C) As I understood the digital delux costs 80€ (=117$), I expect the hard copy collectrs edition to cost more, please correct me if I'm wrong.

I might have had the pricing wrong, but everything you said is pretty much my point.  Some people appreciate it and others don't.  You decided to wait until the game was really cheap to buy it used.  That's awesome.  No problem with that.  But you're not complaining about being offered extra stuff for an extra price.  I'm just annoyed by all the people that always go on about how it's what's wrong with the industry and everything.  If you want to get it day one and you want the extra stuff, then you're paying more.  If you're happy with the main game and don't mind waiting so you can get it cheaper, then that's what you do.  Just don't complain "extra stuff on day one for extra price that doesn't actually affect the game itself? How awful!"

This is an outrage. Where shall I begin.

Day one DLC........ If it's ready you have another 9 months before release. Put it in the darn game.

Origin. Newsflash : Steam is the popular service and people aren't fond of having to use 10 different distribution platforms. Release the darn collectors edition on Steam. This is an absolute disgrace.

Is the dlc going to be exclusive to origin as well? Why don't you tell us what content we'll be missing by not preordering at gamestop as well.

I seriously don't understand why people feel so entitled that they feel they deserve the extra content that isn't pertinent to the actual game. You're still getting the whole game. Does nobody realize how often there is extra stuff in video games that gets cut and never sees the light of day? Day One DLC is, often times just that content that they were going to keep out, but decided, "Hey, let's tweak it and make it fit as a little extra for people." And how you do you that it's already done? It might have also been something that they recently figured out and are deciding to add it. You are buying a product. If the DLC bothers you that much, don't get the version that has it. And part of the DLC is just extra powered weapons that make the game easier. Nothing you need. Just something to say "heck yeah, I got this!"
