Any plans on making more ME3 Collector's Editions to be allocated to Gamestop for pre-orders?
(Obviously for us XBOX360 owners out there)...
Just saying you might want to think about doing that.

Yeah, I was going to pre-order a PC copy today, and -- ofcourse -- I see the "not available" button.
I'll wait a couple of days to see if they get more before I end up purchasing the DDE from Origin.

If you haven't heard, GAME group in the UK is in trouble. Why is this imporant, you may ask? Because they have the UK exclusivity for ME3 Collector's Edition.
Here's the news:
http://www.eurogamer...stock-new-games
This is particularly disturbing:
UPDATE:Eurogamer readers have reported that GAME is not selling Metal Gear Solid HD on its website, and that the shop has been turning away Mass Effect 3 pre-orders.
I personally preorered CE for X360 the day it was made available (sometime in June 2011). It's stil there, so my preorder is safe, for now...
This is not a good news at all, especially now, when the game is only a month-ish away AND because they have the exclusivity on it.
Your thoughts ? Any chance Bioware folks can do something and secure our preorders?
Regards

Well I really hope they come to an agreement... It's very bad for the people who preordered before! You could always preorder from, say, Amazon.com, but with the shipping and all, it would be really expensive. Hope you keep your preorder!

It really is disturbing. I hope I get my CE coming march because where else can I get a PAL Xbox360 CE with English Voices? Also there is confusion about the pre-order DLC. Game has finally updated their site with the N7 warfare gear but there is a small print which reads "UK only..." Hope the codes are mailed out regardless.

Nope, I live in Bulgaria, so I figured the shipping would be high, but that thing about the import fees really killed me... Oh well, already paid for it, but that doesn't make it any less painful. I really hope the game lives up to its price!

Ah, that explains the high price of shipping and such. I live in America so that's why its easier for me. I hope that you can forget how much that price is killing you. You'll get your game and you'll enjoy it. In the end you will feel satisfied because I feel that Mass Effect 3 will be epic!

PC version I presume. Since it requires Origin, I'd say "No". You will have to activate it online and it will then be bound to your Origin account thus eliminating the need for the DVD (you can even download it afterwards via your Origin account - no need for the DVD for future installs if you have the bandwith). You have to have Origin installed and running when you want to play the game.Timerider42 wrote...
Does anyone know if the the physical copy will require the disc in the drive all the time?

Please can someone at EA or Bioware offer something for UK games who are now facing the very real prospect of losing their collectors edition?
Surely if Game can't pay for their stock the stock still exists somewhere? I'll quite happily provide documentation to prove my pre-order status with Game if EA and Bioware want to sell direct?

I know this would ruin a lot of peoples day but I hope they just give the CEs to a few other retailers so UK gets it at a fairer price.
