Game has increased the base price it charges for Collector's Editions from about 60 to 70 GBP.... and the special ones like Skyrim and SWTOR went from 100 (Halo Reach, or Killzone 3 for example) to 130 GBP, so even if tax does play a little part it's still scandalous particularly when it's exclusive; if people want the CE which they obviously do, and you're the only supplier it makes no sense to outprice those on the fence to the point where they'll only buy the standard edition....

I've had several opportunities to order a CE of ME3 and I really wanted it but I look at the extra content and the fact it is £30 in total and I see absolutely no value for money from it.

I'll just buy the DLC on its own for far less, the only thing I'll really miss is the steelbox case since I collect those.

does anyone know if ME3 N7 CE is over 1kg in weight? I'm asking because of GAME.co.uk shipping policy. In short: they don't ship items over 1kg overseas (I'm not from the UK).

Amazon.de lists the ME3 CE as 526 g. So you should be fine. I guess it will be similar to the ME2 CE which was also delivered via game.co.uk without problem.

Hi guys the me3 ce isn't that badly priced in my opinion.
if it is anything like the me2 collectors edition it should go up in value over a few years. Also I don't mind paying that little bit extra for an epic game with an epic storyline.

Namely the "additional team mate and bonus mission": it suddenly disappeared from the advertising sheet. About two months ago - when I preordered my own copy of the collectors' edition - it was still one of its main bonus features, but today as I checked back I didn't find it. Simply put, it's gone for good. As far as I can remember it was also mentioned in the advertising video. Did Bioware choose not to include this feature in the CE after all? Does any of you know anything about this issue? It is kind of important to me, because the ingame bonus features (especially the aforementioned additional character and mission) were the major reason I chose to preorder the CE instead of the normal version. So please enlighten me, thanks!

Woah woah woah, when/where did they announce this? I'm not doubting you, but I just wanna see when they did this, cause I had no idea. An on another note, I totally wanted to pre-order the CE at GameStop so I could get that Defender Armor and N& Valkyrie Rifle. So my question is, would it be more likely that these two things would be available as separate DLC in teh future, or would it be more likely that the gear from teh CE would be available as separate DLC in the future. Time is of the essence!

i only heard about the charcter twitter announced through the mass effect wikki and somewhere through one this thread but can't find either anymore. and i'd expect the dlc to be for the most part relased in the future just like ME2 however this was a long time after ME2 relase and there are still a few things not obtainable eg the collector gun and armouror the blackstorm. so i would just get the CE if you still can just to be safe

i got me3 ce it was sold in store and online for Gamestop, best buy, origin, and walmart, then i finally found one at target but i wont get any pre order bonus which sucks

Even though I'll be getting the C.E anyways, I'm relieved thats this is being made available for everyone. 

Hopefully they'll do the same with the rest of the DLC.

I was going to cancel my order due to multiplayer pew-pew,but decided to give it (the game) a shot.
In december recieved a e-mail that my order was canceled(scream)after a week of e-mails,I finally reordered the CE.(Stupid Wally-World)
Now it looks like I might have two CEs on order.I'm afraid to try and cancel one.

Not exactly, if they made the rest of the DLC's available to everyone I'm sure it would end up more expensive than if you just bought the C.E. 

That way it'd be fair for all parties. =P

you could always sell your spare on eBay if you end up with two
