Ok so I need a little help here. I'm conflicted between getting the CE on Amazon for PC, or getting the SE at GameStop for their armor and rifle pre-order bonus. So what I'd like to know is if the digital content on the CE, specifically the bonus character, mission, and weapons, will be made available as DLC because that's really my main reason for getting the CE in the first place. If the opposite is true, that GameStop's pre-order bonus will be made available as DLC at a later time, then I'd get the CE from Amazon. Or should I buy both, use the bonus code from GameStop and sell the SE later. Any advice/opinion would be appreciated.

Woah woah woah, when/where did they announce this? I'm not doubting you, but I just wanna see when they did this, cause I had no idea. An on another note, I totally wanted to pre-order the CE at GameStop so I could get that Defender Armor and N& Valkyrie Rifle. So my question is, would it be more likely that these two things would be available as separate DLC in teh future, or would it be more likely that the gear from teh CE would be available as separate DLC in the future. Time is of the essence!

yeah they haven't mentioned price yet i'd guess it be the same sort of price as kasumi was. as for buying from amazon or gamestop i'd guess at some point EA will relase the weapons and squadmate outfits avlaible for dlc just like they did in ME2 however the other digital stuff like the robitic dog i doubt will end up for downloading so if you want that stuff it might be better to buy the CE. you could by both use your gamestop code and then sell the the game on eBay to reduce the efects of buying the game possible makeing your money back from the gamestop order

Finally, a Collector's Edition that's truly limited. If this shows up a couple of months from now for 20-30 pounds I'm gonna go nuts (Killzone 3, Gears 3, Deus Ex all had this problem).
I hope Bioware doesn't overproduce this.

You can still get the C.E from EB A.U website,however alot of stores will no longer accept orders. EB does not ship internationally as far as Ican tell.

For NZ mighy-ape still has some left (They do ship internationnaly Ibelive)

I was thinking of buying from overseas and have it shipped to the US to get the GameStop bonuses, but I decided against it because the shipping costs would be high, not to mention the package could be mishandled and damaged.

I was thinking of switching my preorder of the N7 Edition (xbox 360 version) from Game.co.uk to Amazon.it (it's cheaper and it doesn't take an eternity to arrive), but I have a question: are the DLCs multilanguage like in ME2?

I refuse to play ME in italian: I'd give the italian version to my brother, while I preorder a standard copy for myself from Amazon.co.uk.
Yes, I love complicating my life.

Half the price paid off. To their credit, they refunded it completely and offered my a fiver off ME3 regular edition, but I'm still pissed...

I preordered mine the first day they were available on GAME.co.uk (I think June 2011). Checked my order. Still there. *sigh relief*

DON'T, I repeat DON'T preorder from Best Buy. They have a history of overselling their stock. Amazon still has pre-orders available, so I suggest you go there. If you're looking for a PS3 pre-order, go to GameStop's site. They have the best pre-order bonus imo.

I didn't buy from Best Buy. I bought it from Buy.com, a different site. Amazon is out of xbox CE's.

It seems like the Collectors edition has pretty much sold out for the pysical type pre-order here in the UK.
I know i've left it too late to order, but if anyone knows anywhere it is still available for PC i would be eternally grateful.

On the other hand, I wouldn't mind having to get it as a download if there really are none left (although you would miss out on a physical copy of the awesome art book) Does anyone know if the game will have to be run through origin like Battlefield 3 and other recent EA games? in which case i will probably just pre-order it from there

CE for PC are still available on Amazon. And yes, ME3 will run through Origin.
