Unfortunately being at work and such I'm not able to get through the full thread but...has it been said whether or not more CE's will be made after launch? That being said, if the Vegas "Space" edition happens to make it near Houston, I will be bolting out of the office right quick.

They are not making anymore, I'm pretty sure a dev confirmed it. *shrugs*

I'm surprised at the number of people complaining that there is a limited stock on CE.

It's been available to pre-order for over 6 months? Waiting until 2weeks before release to preorder the limited collectors edition is a little foolish.

Also because

A. Those who complains about CEs not being available any more because it's limited stuck, was most likely not having enough money/or wanted to wait for a price cut.

B. They couldent make there mind up, so this is there consequence for that.

You get it for free with DDE, no additional money will be charged for you for it.

With word of GAME refunding pre-orders on games they (for some reason) can't stock, I emailed Gamestation in a panic to make sure my N7 edition was still mine!!

Thankfully it's ok and safe (my baby ;_ but Gamestation UK is completely sold out of N7 editions on 360.

I found an article (and I need to dig it up again) regarding why they won't do any more pre-orders. Simply put, they cannot get any more produced prior to the release date. They didn't mention anything in the article about not making any more. That's not to say they won't order more for retail sales. If anyone hears or sees news on whether or not they plan on making more would you mind posting on the forum?

Alright, so I recently set up an order in gamestop's site for the CE edition of the game (was on the fence for a while,) and now that I try to change the shipping I get a pop-up which says the name of the game and Backordered next to it. Link to a screenshot below. Should I worry about them canceling my order at launch or just cancel it and try getting it from a brick and mortar store? I mean, they still have the Add To Cart option in the page for the game, so not sure what to make of this.

FYI it's tough to tell, a lot of retailers over-estimate how many they will get of any particular game. I realize this will show my horrible choices of the semi-recent past; but gamestop had the same issue when I ordered Duke  Nukem Forever's Collectors edition. Suddenly  one day, it pops up as "backordered" apaprently, it was a global message though, everyone with an order showed up backordered.

This also happened roughly 1-2 weeks before the game was released. I talked to gamestop and they mentioned it had to do with a combination of over-orders and that they had begun processing out orders based on their shipment arrivals as they came in.

So.. maybe sorta kinda you should and or shouldn't be worried? I'd fire them a support message if nothing else.

Now you've got me worried about my GameStop in-store preorder (glad I've got an even older Amazon by mail preorder as backup!)

That is one of the MAJOR reasons i paid off the CE and am going to the MIDNIGHT RELEASE at Gamestop. I have had run-ins with a few of their SHADY practices....and i think i would go ape**** if i didnt get my copy...especially since i preordered 8 months ago

Hey, will the preordering from Origin give me the bonus character and mission? I can't see it listed on the Origin site, but it seems weird that those bonuses won't be available from EA's Origin, of all places...

i just have ONE complaint for this pre-ordering busyness:

why do those people at gamestop get an extra armor with better shields and more clips?....argh that peeves me! (even more so, as they do not allow me to order a CE online at their german site ...)

not hard to find a job if you really need a job be a waiter or a bus boy money is money. " it aint funny its all about money" i actually applied myself and went around and filled out fiveapplication aday for 3weeks, thats how i got my job. apply yourself.

This type of thing is always comedy to me.  Job markets vary widely based on where you LIVE.
Easiest place to find a job in the US  :  Washington D.C.  Nearly a cakewalk in DC.

There are places in the US, yes the UNITED STATES that only have one McDonalds, NO Wal-Mart,
NO Shopping Mall,  One or Two Gas Stations for 35 - 40 Miles.  People are hunting under
different circumstances.  Need different strategies for different regions.

Some places - the low hanging fruit is already picked by grownups working teenage jobs - instead of teenagers.
But yes you must keep trying to find and/or create something. 

When you do get steady income - DON'T WASTE THE MONEY.
The Baby Boomers had it easy - YOU DON'T. Many of the things your parents had available
when they were on the rise are gone - FOREVER. 
IT's a NEW GAME.  With OLD RULES.
