Has anyone else been billed by GS today? I pre-ordered the CE online sometime last week, and they billed me today (total= 96.97).

I got billed today too.  Hopefully the shipment will actually go through, cuz I'm reading that for some people who ordered online from GS.com, it shows that their order is "backordered".

My status says "Open", and has said that since I first pre-ordered it. If GS is already accepting our payments, I think we should be good.

does that unclude shipping because that is like an extra $10. I paid $85.07 in store.

Tax and Overnight shipping included. I couldn't pre-ordered it instore, I was lucky enough to pre-order it last week when GS was making them available to pre-order online.



Earlier when I was talking about the size of the CE, today I got to see it with my own eyes. Hell...I even got to hold it! But then I had to load it into a trailer so it could be sent off to a variety of stores in Texas. EA/BW is lucky that I have morals.

I really hope Kmart is able to fulfill the request. They accepted my order yesterday for the CE for PC.

The 360 version wasn't available so hopefully that means they actually are paying attention to what they have in stock.

Yeah! PS3! Even though we missed out on Mass Effect, we got lucky with Mass Effect 2. Even with the free DLC, I still bought Arrival, Firepower Arsenal, and the Operations Recon!

You did not mentioned that you were getting it for the PC, so I assumed that you were refering to the Standard version for a console system.

I pre-ordered my N7 Collectors edition back at the beginning of September at Game.co.uk as soon as it became available. It's been announced today that Game won't be stocking any more EA games after SSX! Game.co.uk where exclusive stockist of the N7 edition in the UK and it's sold out worldwide, what happens to the copy I ordered? I'm going to be very upset if I miss out now since I'm a huge Mass Effect fan who pre-ordered months in advance exactly as I was supposed to to make sure I got the copy I wanted.

Just called Game and there said "There not taking any more Orders (Preorders) for standard or collectors edition. but will still selling what stock they have. Guess that means I'll have to get my arse there on time for when it open's.

I saw the news on Eurogamer. Frankly, I'm not optimistic that Game will deliver on any of its preorders (including the online ones for the Collectors Edition). The ME3 Collector's Edition was supposed to be an exclusive to Game, and now it's becoming available on sites all over the web. This has to be the stock that was originally ear-marked for Game, no?

The ME3 Collectors Edition can currently be preordered from Play.com, Zavvi, Shopto, The Hut and Sendit that I can find. It's not on Amazon.co.uk - at least, not yet. The cheapest so far is Sendit at £62.89 + £1.99, but the prices are all much of a muchness.

My preorder with Game hasn't changed according to their website, but I don't really trust that. I've preordered the Collectors Edition again from Zavvi, just to be safe.

What the hell is this, EA? What do you think you're doing? You can't commit to something like that and then pull out at the last minute - ITS THE END OF FEBRUARY. If Game have charged you for the CE, there is NO REFUND, only store credit.

It's not 'the right thing'

Only a complete fool would sit on millions of $s worth of merchandise.

EA got into bed with GAME, gave exclusive deals (2 of them) to them, EA can't do their homework, and don't check out their bedfellows, then drop them like a rash.

They're not honoring all of GAME's preorders (IE the 'right thing to do') they're just selling to stock to other companies. End of the day they get their money, but the CE's, which were sold out donkeys ages ago, are now a free for all, insuring that some people will loose out on CE's as people who didn't preorder scramble for it.

It's pure economics, nothing moral about what they're doing at all. Don't be so bleeding heart.

I had to re pre-order my game today with a different company and for what reason?
People are being told that if they paid cash up front in-store they will only get store credit in return. IF that is true - that is pretty messed up and can't be legal. They have no right to not give back to people THEIR cash for a mess-up caused by money hungry mongrels.
