To whoever said it was a longstanding arrangement Game had EA had, that may be true but the new credit arrangements were made at the start of the year. Game can't pay debts and EA don't want to give merchandise to a company who can't pay.

However the true losers are the fans as they have been caught in the middle or a business arrangement.

Actually the new credit arrangements with publishers were being negotiated last week.

That said, you're right: it is the fans that are the true losers in this. I feel sorry for anyone that loses out because they couldn't get online in time.

Hopefully EA will rethink its exclusive Collector's Editions in future. Have at least 2 retailers \\ etailers just in case...

Just saw the news and re-ordered with Amazon, bit of a lucky catch for the this afternoon.

Phoned my local store in Northern Ireland and they confirmed it all as well. Refunds given as well as £5 voucher on your reward card, pity GAME won't stock anything worth buying.

The question is now that Game have royally cocked things up, who gets the N7 gear, because apart from that, the only reason I preordered with Game was that I could get it at 9am and be home/installing/playing by 10 on Friday.

Well seeing as this is EA's fault for cancelling a contract 1 week before their major release, they are getting boycotted after this game. Its just appalling the way that this has been handled.

WTF?! Seriously, game.co.uk are truly a bunch of retarded morons. Pre-ordered my 360 CE on Sep. 1st 2011 and now they sent me a message that there's not enough in stock so my order was canceled! Seriously?! I mean really seriously?! *rage*

Well at least i'm still getting a CE edition now... i suppose thats all that really matters... The Argus is nice, but I really wanted the Defender armor with the Warfare gear...

No... this is completely Game's fault for not paying EA for ANY of the pre-orders.  Seriously, would you really hand over thousands of pounds worth of merchandise to someone who couldn't and hadn't paid you?

Just googling Game, its seems that they've been in trouble with their creditors for a while and not paying alot of suppliers, not just EA....
