I found out my preorder n7 edition was cancelled by game and i was fortunate enough to get it with blockbuster before they sold out, but i'm still pretty f****d off about the whole thing. why wat there no warning? why did iit seemingly happen instantaneously? now loads of people who did have it pre-ordered have lost out to people who previously didnt have it pre-ordered but were fast enough to suck up all the spare copies. Someone has a lot to answer for.

I only just found out about this - now I can't get the N7 edition anywhere. I feel like crying.

This was going to be released on my actual birthday and was the only thing I wanted. I just feel so knocked down by this.

Does anyone now if the collectors edition will ever be restocked for the consoles?

I hate to put it this way but it is probably called "Collectors Edition" for a reason.

Only chance would probably to get a copy that has been sold back to EB, GameStop or something like them but then all you get is the disc that says "CE" on it but none of the benefits.

majorly cheesed off. Pre-ordered at GAME back when it was originally announced for release when the release date was November 15th. when the release date was put back to march I immediately shot to GAME to check if my order was still ok they said yes of course and took £5 deposit. Haven't had an email off GAME yet found out from a text message from a friend been in work all night now no chance to get the edition i've been waiting over a year for. not impressed with either company EA or GAME. BOTH HAVE MY EMAIL ADDRESS.

I found out in the middle of the lecture and was trying to log into Play.com on my phone but couldn't get it. Was getting so worried. Managed to get it, then found out that it was cheaper in Zavvi and still in stock so I pre-ordered there as well.

I just cancelled my Play.com order (360) not 5 minutes ago so if anyone's hoping to get a copy it might be worth checking it out, don't know how they'll handle a cancellation though.

Been reading some articles on how game has screwed it's customers on me3. £5 of store credit is not only insulting, but also a kick in the quads to it's customer base. The collectors edition is one thing, but to not have any stock is just crap. One of the biggest games (if not the biggest game) of the year and they won't be carrying it. The only game it looks like out of the EA line will be SSX. From what I've read, they've also lost on alot of other titles like The Last Story. Disappointing for fans of the me series, but some would see we all saw this coming where game's shady practices are concerned.

Been spending all day in college, trying to avoid spoilers for ME 3, get a text that from a friend informing me that his and my collectors edition has been cancelled. Utterly heartbroken, cannot find it anywhere else. I had this pre-ordered since last July. I went in to GAME everyday for weeks to try and pre-order it, checked Gamestop every day as well. Now a week before launch, the game that i have been looking forward to since i first stepped into the boots of Shepard in 2007, is gone. Every site that supposably had it now no longer does. This is a real let down on a very fundamental level. I really hope what some people are saying about the collectors editions been put in other stores, or that there will be more editions available is true because the game doesnt really feel the same now...

So unbelievably sad that the collector's edition from GAME was cancelled at such a late stage - even more sad that this is, essentially, EA's doing since they decided to give exclusive rights to GAME then decided at the last minute not to extend them the credit needed. Furthermore, any company that was then given rights to sell the collector's edition has now 'sold out' (honestly, sold out on a pre-order, what?). I was looking forward to the physical stuff issued with the collector's edition (which I pre-ordered last year) and now I'll have to settle for the standard edition. This has left a very bitter taste in my mouth.

But yeah, this is really terrible and I feel for everyone affected. The obvious thing would be for EA to acquire more of the physical content and give it, as well as the digital, for free to those affected.

Sadly, EA will probably just stay quiet about it and hope people are so impressed with the game they forget. Yay for putting profits above people.

I understand that - my question was mostly rhetorical.  However, had they dealt with this issue much, much earlier then they would have had better pre-order numbers in order to manufacture enough of the collector's edition.  The collector's edition was available on pre-order since last year - had they decided earlier to give rights to other sellers, they could have made much, much more money.

Gutted got the email at 8pm and tried to replace my pre orders for xbox and pc collectors edition. NO LUCK AT ALL.
I’ve had to pre-order the CE on PS3 as I really wanted the merchandise and I’ll just play the game on my pre-ordered PC standard version.

The only reason I ordered through Game was for the collectors copy and due to the fact that until yesterday they were the only site to provide the collectors copy, and most who ordered it did so a year ago or so im not willing to purchase the game at launch if I can't get the copy I wanted to get, I will wait til the prices drop and then get it as it is not worth the money.

I understand what you're saying, but their goal was never to make enough CE's to meet pre-order demand. They had a set maximum amount (someone mentioned 25,000?).

I agree it doesn't make sense. They could've made a hell of a lot more money if they had created more.

Wow just notcied my GAME preorder for N7 got cancelled I preorder that back in October O.o -.- I remember 2 weeks ago asking to make sure it was still there and they said it was, and now its gone. Well thats really a big kicked up the backside..

I have a serious question about this GAME situation that i would like to be answered by a BioWare rep please.

I pre-ordered ME3CE for the PC in June,  (I think?) but now it’s been cancelled as we all know.

I’ve managed to re-order it from Amazon.co.uk, so everything is cool.
But what are the Amazon pre-order bonuses?

GAME was offering the Warfare Gear as an exclusive to them, as mentioned here;

Now I’ve had no choice but to swap to Amazon. 
(Sure I could go through Origins, but I want the metal case, etc.
I like having something tangible for my money rather than a digital copy.)

My question is; will that pre-order bonus be honoured by Amazon?
Will I also get the standard bonus of the ‘M55 Argus assault rifle’ as Amazon makes no mention of any such bonuses?

I have to ask these questions as I did not receive my Inferno armour when ordering ME2 from Amazon!
