Like with most CE games (Dragon Age, ME2, etc), it's a metal case.  It's not an empty box.

No, I didn't order from Game. It was in the US. The store owner said the distributer called him and said EA pulled all their CE copies. If EA won't ship copies to the distributer, despite already having my money (so not a credit problem), it is most definitely EA's fault. Coupled with the fact that a few posts up has Gamestop re-opening CE sales on all platforms, it's not hard to put two and two together: retailer favoritism, rather than first come first serve.

You do realise that it may not be EA's fault at all - or that it isn't a credit problem - you payed your game store - they may or may not have paid the distributer already - who may or may not have paid EA - just because the store took your money is no guarantee that EA received it - or ever would for that matter (it was the uncertainty of the last that made EA ask Game in the UK to pay upfront).   It's also entirely possible that the distributer overestimated the number of copies they would receive and now can't fulfill the order....who knows.  As for other retailers suddenly having stock - you will find at least some of those will be preorders that were automatically cancelled when they tried (& failed) to take payment in the last couple of days (many places don't actually charge you til they are ready to ship).

That being said, I do hope you are able to source another copy of the CE from somewhere.

U.S. Gamestop site is once again sold out. Luckily mine are on the truck heading to me now.

But here's what people in the U.S. can do. If you look at the page and see the check available thing and click new. It will show the stores in your area with inventory. Now those will belong to people who pre-ordered but Gamestop gives them 2 days to claim their pre-orders. So check in 3/8 and early morning 3/9. You might score a cancel.

Number I've been using is 0845 800 1020

I did pay for first class (as I've received games late in the past when ordering with Amazon and using free delivery) so it may be the case they don't send it until the day before with that. Does anyone know if that's the case?

I'm assuming you're referring to Amazon UK. They haven't sent me a dispatch email yet, and I've paid for first class as well. 

I've no idea how Amazon dispatches pre orders. This is my first pre order with them.

I'm alittle dissapointed in the factory handling of it, my tin has scuff marks down both the spine and the opening side on both the front and back. Plus they put the bar code sticker ontop of male Shep's waist, wtf, luckily it did not damage it I just had too remove some glue residue. On top of that disc 1 was loose, appears too be no damage. Good thing is there is no damage too the Shep images on the tin.

I like how the N7 patch has velcro, though I will never remove it because the edition will no longer be complete. I'm one of those collectors.

The litho is even smaller then past ones I believe, small post card. Its a cool image but weak since its so small. The art book seems to have the smae images as the universe book, I only flipped through it. Everything I seen was in the other book.

So, here is the situation: I'm from Argentina, here there are veeery few game stores, none of them accepts pre-orders, so I couldn't preorder mine. I want to get the Collector's Edition (for PC), but it's out of stock on every site (amazon, best buy, gamestop), and it's a little more expensive on Ebay (120 dollars). Does anyone knows if EA is going to send new copies for the Collector's Edition? Or they are going to send the amount of preorders that they have?

That I can uderstand, what its not clear is ,why they not collect preorders, from all the countries I live in easten Europe, and AGAIN, my preorder to a local gameshop, just was cancelled, a few days ago because the CE of the game its no longer available. And if that its not enough, we, gamers from ROMANIA, cant preorder from other european, or not countries ,because ROMANIA is not listed at all, Happend before with DragonAge II SE, and now, AGAIN with ME 3 CE.WHY Bioware , you have many fans outhere too,in Romania

This is not a joke within the last 15 minutes i placed an order for the collectors edition for xbox 360, called customer service to check and make sure the order went through and it should be getting to me between march 12 and march 16th (i opted for free super saver shipping). Good Luck

i love how they tack on the 4$ shipping after charging 100k. by the way, it looks like the CE of ME3 is once aging available at amazon US. i guess some people canceled their pre orders.

Spoke to blockbuster today and yet again they were ace . Mine order still say preorder but they said it will be sent out tomrw and order will be change then.

They say tomrw the earliest they are allowed to send them so image a lot of people from different site will be the same ^^

Maybe there is new stock on amazon. When there are only a few units left, amazon puts an special tag on the items "only X units left, order soon". Now it says "in stock", I don't think that so many people could have cancelled their preorders. But anyway, excellent news!
