I got extremely lucky and was able to order mine this weekend for PS3 from Walmart.com. They only had a few left. It shipped today so I should get it sometime this week or next.

Just got the standard edition with DLC apart.
I'm pretty sure they will not make more italian CE for a long time.

Depends.... if you don't care about the stuff contained in the CE go for standard+dlc.
I personally prefer the CE but I had not choice.

Btw, I have a question: if I activate the code from retail edition can I download the digital artbook etc? Because when I activated my retail ME2 CE, the name in Origin is Mass Effect 2 Digital Deluxe Edition, but ME3 is named Mass Effect 3 N7 Collector's Edition.

Don't know if it counts for much but I was able to snag an extra Xbox version from Amazon on release day just in case my order from GoHastings.com didn't come through. I got both about 3 days apart and plan on returning my Amazon copy soon if anyone is on the lookout.

Just for Bioware:
This package sucks monkey balls. The whole thing is pure advertising. You're not giving a real artbook but a small mini-artbook who's the ad for the real thing you're already selling!
The soundtrack? You didn't even got it on a proper disc, how lazy is that?
The patch? Well, a real patch looks a little bit different doesn't it?
The comic? Again, advertisement. You're not giving me all 4 in a little nice TPB, you're giving me one so I do have to buy the other three.
The lithograph? Come on a postcard?
The DLC? Yeah we all know this is clear fraud, produce something, get paid for it but just giving it to CE, Pre-Order or periphery-buyers.

So how much did it cost you to produce this? The Soundtrack? Nothing, as it was alreaday there. The comics? A dollar but sure less since you made so many. The lithograph? Two dollars maybe. The patch? Another dollar. The DLC? Nothing since everyone is paying for it nevertheless. And the artbook? Well, that has to be the thing that cost most, maybe five dollars.

So all in all the package cost you nine dollars more and that is very optimistic. You could count the Steelbook in but hey since you didn't even gave me a manual I don't care.

Now we have CD Projekt on the other hand. What do they give me in the STANDARD version? Oh right, a soundtrack on disc, a making of (which people have to buy for their ipods riiight), a map, a game guide, a coin, a letter, handicraft things and a hard cardboard in which everything fits. No surcharge what so ever.

Oh right there was something I nearly forgot. You gave us an exclusive artwork of Shepard right? Oh.. no you didn't we already knew that one and of course FemShep just got the back, not the front.

So in the end I can just say, do not buy this scum. This is advertisement, not a real collectors edition for the fans.

I don't know about everyones oppinion with this but I kind of will let done. my Australian version ps3 collectors edition came with a cheap knock off box bigger that what Ive seen and with the regular disc. now why was I cheated. both PC and Xbox collectors got the N7 disc and the small cases but I don't understand the differents for the ps3. Ive look at unboxings on youtube and UK owners have the same problem. every store Ive gone to Game, JB Hi-Fi and even EB Games has the reject collectors edition that I got so I can swop it or find an n7 disc. it doesn't feel like a collectors rather a rejection for us australian ps3 owners been rip off.

Highly disappointed. I recently bought Assassins Creed Revelations: Animus Edition. Same price, but the quality was far far better. They even house the hardback 300 page book and game in a velvet case, sex in a box. Biggest waste of £70 ever

I think I've seen some PS3 versions with the same size as PC and Xbox ones, but I think the disc is different in PAL & NTSC (even the "spine" of the steelbook is different). Same goes for ME2 CE: I have a PAL PC version and a NTSC-J Xbox version and there are differences between the discs (same as ME3, NTSC has N7 logo and it says Collector's Edition and PAL has the same image as standard game (I may be wrong, but so far that's what I've seen)), the cover of the game manual for PAL is that cool N7 logo and for NTSC is Cerberus logo, and the biggest difference is the holder for the art book and comic. So I'm guessing the differences are between regions, not platforms (at least for ME2 CE).

@Padre_175: When I bought ME3 CE I had to choose from this one and Crysis 2 Nano Edition at the same price (even cheaper, 50), but I had the CEs for the first two games and I wanted to play day one, but you're right, compared to other CEs, this one may be considered a little expensive for what you're getting. (Lucky BioWare that they're making great games).

nah its so confusing that the collectors edition is jibbed. even dragon age 2 was jibbed only dragon age origin and biowares only sucessful game the old republic collectors edition were done well but not by the same writters and game makers.

I have bought this one, it´s perfect, the only thing that I could remove of this edition was the ending of Mass effect, Why Bioware?
I think that you can be hurt for your fanbase but I´m hurt too, please fix it.

152 pages, if it's just for news or announcement it could have been locked on page 1. I think it's good to hold it up so consumers can still give their opinion to this crap.
