I have urgent questions in regards to this news.

• Will the robotic dog be namable?
• Will you be able to play with the robotic dog, whom you have named 'Bit'?
• Will you be able, in fact, to use your omni-tool to create hard-light balls that you throw to Bit, which he will then chase down and bring back, holding the hard-light ball in a small mass effect field from his adorable optical sensors?
• Upon retrieving said ball, will you be able to scratch Bit's chin, sending his little robotic back leg into spasms while you say, "Who's a good doggie? Who's a good doggie?" for hours on end, all the while forgetting that the Reapers are busily ripping Earth apart, and bringing about the end of organic life for this cycle?

Because if the answer to even one* of these questions is yes, I want that puppy.

Well I see in a screenshot Alenko and Liara... Will they beck at life Kaidan Alenko ? Or maybe just as it looks like, Sheppard has to back in the past before ME1, to destroy Reapers and avoid the universe complete destruction ?
I mean it would be great as idea and it would be something like Star Trek when they have to beck in 2oth century to bring in the future 2 whales to save the earth...

But above all : HOW CAN I REXIST TO WAIT FOR THE ME3 'TILL March 06 / 2012 ????? I YET PLAYED 19 TIMES me2 but now.... Someone help me to care my desire to have it!!!!

I think that march 2012 instead of Dec 2011 is because ME3 works with Kinekt!!!

Well, I harassed Amazon.co.uk yesterday (read "sent them a nice e-mail" ) and here's the gist of the answer I got today:

On checking our website and see that the latest information indicates that "Mass Effect 3" has not yet been released and the expected release date is not known. As soon as a release date has been determined for this item, we will add that information to our website.

While we are confident that copies will be made available, we cannot provide more precise information about the fulfilment of the order.

I thought the whole E3 thing was to announce the official release date? They're probably taking more time to settle it in. It has happened before. But that last paragraph still gives me hope they'll sort it out soon.

Ouch! Really? From my calculations, if I paid no shipping and international fees, the game would cost around 55€ (the 79.99$, this from Amazon.com). How come your price is double the one I'm getting? All that money can't be from shipping... Can it?

Those are multi-lingual version on sale in europe. They will contain both german and english audio. French, italian, etc. also.

And that is imperative, because the synchronisations and translation in german are just plain horrifying to the point that it hurts, literally! Because when I first played ME, it was in german and I found the audio to be awkward. Then I switched to english and it was a whole other dimension. When ME2 came, and I saw videos of the german version (and some scenes from ME1 in german too), I literally facepalmed so hard sometimes it actually hurt. It is THAT aweful.

So, if ME3 would come localized only, I'd be making a list, A list containing translators, voice actors and the like. And those people would not wish to be on that very list!

Because, for all intents and purposes, I am a Grammar-Fascist. I revel in exact expressions, I live on subtlety. And if I get a game that slaps abominations of said in my face, I WILL retaliate.

Depends on the platform. PC and PS3 version will be multilingual. The Xbox version sadly not. It was so with Mass Effect 2. i did hear it was possible to get a language patch for the 360 but I dont know how.

Pre ordered in my local town(about an hour away from cork city),the collectors edition wasnt on their system yet but they said they will switch it to that when it comes on their system,paid a €5 deposit.

Yup, it's the shipping. But meh, I'm working the entire summer. I'll still be alive when the game arrives.

Last time I ordered something from Amazon.com, my shipping fee was... 10€? And it was an artbook, much heavier and bigger than a normal videogame case. Though, being a special edition with an artbook in it might increase the size and weight, and thus the price. Still, that is a lot.

Whatever the case, glad you could preorder it! As for me, I'll wait for the Amazon.co.uk deal. Hope they put it up soon!
