It kinda sucks for anyone who doesn't live in the US, UK or Germany. Anyone else has to pay exorbiant fees for shipping and import.
It got worse.
How?
Those who live in the Netherlands most likely don't have a credit card, since we work with debit cards here. Funny thing is, none of these debit cards work on amazon.com or any other place.
For me, WeStealYourMoneyPal is a no-go. Same for getting a credit card. I don't have the money for it.
And don't tell me to get the Digital Deluxe thing; I don't want it.
So yeah. Unless amazon.com enables iDeal for Dutch customers, or unless bol.com allows me to pre-order the ME3 CE, nothing's gonna happen over here.
I live in Greece and I use a pre-paid card. No problem buying from amzon or ebay. You could try that.
Oh, and by the way, it's really nice to hear that most people in the Netherlands use debit cards instead of credit cards. It's just another way that banks use to steal your money.
As far as I know, we don't have pre-paid cards.
Basically, we're screwed.
And personally, I think that the debit card system rocks. It gives you a limit on how much you can buy, unless you add more money.
You have more freedom in the system than you think.
But everything comes with a drawback. We cannot purchase from foreign online stores, unless they support iDeal. Or some other bank transfer option, like [NAME REDACTED] does.
Another drawback of that is that I cannot pre-order games from retailers that get exclusive bonus content. It's not much of a big deal, I agree. But it does give you the feeling you're being "locked out" of those kind of things.
