Question:
I've preordered the CE on PC, but now having second thoughts - most likely I will end up getting a digital deluxe edition for PC, either through steam or origin, which makes me wonder why I whould buy a physical copy for PC.

Instead I'm thinking of getting the CE for the xbox 360, seeing as I have the ME1 limited edition on there as well, so for completeness' sake.

If the contents are essentially the same, except for the game disk, then it would make most sense to get physical edition for 360 and DD edition for PC?

Any opinions?

The last time I did that (Fallout New Vegas Collector's Edition) I never recieved the game and my address is so easy to find. But I still didn't get **** and I had to wait for 30 days untill I could get my refund back.. **** Game.co.uk! Go go Amazon! Also: I am not totally sure if I should just buy it on Amazon.de since germany have the tendency to censor or whatever any game that has violence or whatever (am I right?) I just want to CE so bad

Versions of ME1 and ME2 from amazon.de were not censored at all. Plus they come in english too (the same goes for the physical content). You can definitely expect the same for ME3. And if someday amazon.co.uk has the version available, you can cancel the order again. Likely the better option instead of waiting until it's sold out.

I share you enthusiasm for the game but calm down buddy. there are plenty places that will have the CE for EU.

Yeah you're probably right then, maybe I should just pre order it from .de (even though it's WAY more expensive) about CE coming to the UK I am not so sure. I mean back when New Vegas came out. I had looked everywhere on UK to find the CE and I actually found it. But just some time before I actually pre ordered it, they removed the whole CE thing from Amazon even on Xbox and PS3 aswell. So I am not so sure that they'll get it. But on the other hand, it's freaking ME3. It's way more big than New Vegas was

I asked my sister in Sweden to pre-order for me (live in China atm, and because of the oh-so-lovely-bloody-hate-it-censoring of everything you need and nothing you don't, need I can't get into any other buy-games sites than those either in China or based in HK *wtf?*)  and I'm pretty sure she ordered it from EA Sweden. Costed 999SEK though, that's 780-790 DKR    I feel kind of like crying, my wallet is crying, but I will forget it all soon enough so I can just focus on waiting for the game... I hope

your all mad, £70 !! thats double the price of the standard release on PC and for what, stuff that should be included in the normal game anyway. i love bioware and mass effect dragon age to bits but this is a real kick in the nuts. my CE edition of ME2 was only £35 and that came with just as many goodies (metal case, comic, hard back art book and game content) and dragon age 2 signature edition that was just £25.

so i ask you what could possibly justify double of the price. im not paying £35 for robot dog. but then im not paying £35 to play a cut down version of the game i love with none of the goodness. so what am i to do bioware...

I live in Australia, and preordered the CE with amazon. Even paying for speedy shipping all the way to Australia, it comes out at AU$104 - which is about 15 dollars cheaper than what I'd expect to pay for a physical CE purchased in my own country. (And Assassin's Creed: Revelations CE is worse: AU$138!!!)

Not even ME2 was censored in Germany in any way, and you could also get the Collectors Edition of that here.

It's all due to taxes, at least here in Germany were the CE of ME3 will cost around €75.
