Finally, JB HiFi is taking pre-orders for the CE in-store. Last night I saw they had put ME3 up on the
'must have games' section of their site, but it linked (and still does) to an empty page, so I rang my local store and they said yes, so I rushed down there as fast as I could. They're going for $109.00, which isn't too bad considering some standard editions in oz sell for that much, but I like to support Aussie business.


It's a rip off they should be going for at least $10 less with the way the American Dollar is atm.
Does JB HiFi have the CE already? EBGames doesn't.

I will have to get it my dad to send it to me, no JB HiFi here...

sweet pre-ordered regular edition as soon as I heard, just upgraded to CE the other day as soon as i heard that came out.

Question!

Are we supposed to be charged for the Mass Effect 3 CE as soon as we pre-order? I know that with Dragon Age II, we weren't charged until it shipped. I was expecting the same process, and had a very stunned reaction just now after checking my bank account balance.

I can thankfully cover the charge, so I'm not terribly worried, but I was kind of anticipating the charge coming closer to release... After I graduate from college this month and (hopefully) find a job.

This isn't a regular thing no. Most companies wait until they've literally shipped the product off to you, especially regarding pre-orders, considering they could be delayed. For instance I've had a certain George R.R Martin book pre-ordered for over three years...still wont be charged until its shipped on the 12th of this month!

My friend who works at EB seems to think that we (NZ & Aus) will get the N7 edition just it hasn't been put into the system yet which glancing at Mighty Ape I hope is the case coz she won't let me take my money off my pre-order and I will be mega pissed if I don't get it lol.

I have a feeling there will be a lot of the regular editions stocked in the stores and Collector's Editions gone within hours. I must pre-order.

I'm waiting simply because I'm saving funds for college transportation funds and bills.

I might just wonder off to Gamestop with some Trade-ins just to see if they have the CE. As to each company having a unique item for pre-ordering...I don't know.

I may just get the digital deluxe version off Steam.

I'm assuming that the boxed PC version will require the media in the tray whenever you boot it.
