I'll probably pre-order this version with Christmas money. It seems like it's worth 80 bucks, hell I'll probably feel like I got my 80 bucks worth even if the special features from the CE suck.

Will this even be available to the Netherlands, I wonder. Can't buy the amazon version as it won't support the PAL settings here.

Id assume it would. If you usualy get CE from other games..
Here in Australia its only been out for just over 2 weeks. We were starting to worry here as well

I've been poking around several mayor stores for a while now and my conclusion sofar is No. The more time passes also the less chance of even getting it should the pre-order still become available in dutch stores, I'm gonna go and get the digital version instead ><

Amazon UK should be fine for the PAL thing.

Do stores/sites based in Europe and Australia charge the full price when you preorder?
I've seen a lot of European and Australian users mention having to wait to preorder or being out the cost of the CE. I preordered through Amazon and I won't pay anything until it ships to me. And Gamestops/EB Games here in the states only charge $5-10 when you preorder.

Yeah i put $20 down, will pay it completely before its released. Im unhappy with the price differece between the UK and AUS, but unwilling to wait on this purchase so not the usual "oh ill just import for half the price"

EDIT: not blaming bioware on price, i understand the pricing is due to publishers, store markups ect. Although with the strong aus dollar apple have done a price reduction on itunes and hopefully games follow suit eventually.

Amazon UK should be fine for the PAL thing.

Thing is, only Amazon US has the CE available. Otherwise I would've already taken the trouble to convert my precious euros to pounds. Amazon DE has it though, but I don't like the German dubs.

Saw instore ads for this. I'll preorder it tomorrow when I go back in. I'm getting Uncharted 3 Explorer's Pack also, but should have plenty of money after Christmas. The perks of being a hard guy to shop for is relatives just give you money to spend at your discretion. Problem solved.

I just preordered it today. Just put down $50 for it, I'll put down the extra $60 after my birthday in December. I feel a bit silly preordering so early, but I don't want to risk ANOTHER drama like the Dragon Age 2 SE incident.

If you have a game store such as a walmart, gamestop, best buy or a store like that, they usually offer pre-orders, just ask about and if they do offer it you have to place a minimum ammount on it.  You don't have to pay for the full price right away, it has to be paid off by the time you leave the store with the game.

Litle behind on things here, is the DLC stuff still only for the collector's edition? i really don't want to pay $80 for some $10 dlc here, little annoyed i'm being strong armed into buying alotta fluff just for in game stuff that should've been pre-order bonuses

Is the DLC ever going to be availible to purchase online? (the dog i can live without, the costume & gun pack i'm more interested in) prefferibly availible day 1
