Haha, nice. I'll be taking a few personal days at work myself, come the 5th...Around the middle/tail end of February, I'm going to start a fresh playthrough of my main Shepard and go through ME1 & ME2. The idea is to get all the way through up to the point of doing the Shadow Broker and Arrival DLC's(after the main story of course) on the evening of the 5th...That way, when I go to the midnight release, I can put it right on and start a clean transition into the Reaper invasion.
...I think I said this before on another post...However I'll say it again...I've thought this out way too much. Lol

I don't think you've thought your plan out too much. I also plan on preparing for ME3 that way. That's pretty much how I planned out my ME2 playthrough as well. I made sure I played through Mass Effect and finished about a day before January 26th.Immortanius wrote...

It'd be quite ironic if you guys had to import from Australia (not going to happen ofcourse)
I've been supporting your gaming retail for a while now for the better pricing.

Actually, the CE version is available over at Gamestation UK, and the PC version (the one linked) is roughly £10 cheaper. Though, for some reason, I can't pre-order it. In the checkout it keeps asking for a Delivery method and I see no way to set it anywhere. Anyone else having the same problem?
While we're at it, how does Gamestation compare to GAME in terms of reliability of deliveries and such? Can anyone share their experiences? I haven't used any of these stores and I'd like to hear from someone who already did.

Gamestation, GAME and Gameplay are all the same company. Gamestation isn't that great, though, especially if you're a PC gamer. The prices tend to stay higher for longer, they start higher and I've found the stores to always feel dark and dirty, regardless of where they are or how new they are.Iohanna wrote...

GAME do seem to be very bad with their pre-order pricing, though. Space Marine's CE is ridiculously expensive on their site, and the same price regardless of format, whereas other sites are carrying it for £20 cheaper (Which is 25% less!). I will try to get in contact with GAME to find out what's going on.
Edit: I just realised I completely forgot to answer the question. I used Gamestation's site pre-revamp, although it was a few years ago, and found they're pretty standard. I absolutely hate the new website, though, so I can't speak for how well it works.

At the moment, it's only GAME and Gamestation, but Gameplay do offer pre-orders for the console editions only, which is very odd. It is very possible that the CE is limited to the Gameplay trifecta, as has happened in the past. If other stores don't have it listed now, I would expect it to not come to them.Annoyed Dragon wrote...
Has any info of UK stores where it will be released, I am personally hoping that play.com will allow pre-ordering of it.
If you're adamant on buying from Play.com, then all I can suggest is for you to e-mail them and ask if they'll be accepting pre-orders for the Collector's Edition.

Bioware said that the Collector's Edition will feature not only a male Shep, but a female Shep as well, right? Now, will it be the male on one side of the tin case with female Shep on the reverse side, just like it was with Commander Shepard on the front of ME2's tin case with a Prothean/Collector on the back? Or will it be individual, meaning male Shepard in his own tin Edition and a female Shepard in her own tin Edition?
Thanks guys and gals for your input!
