For the 1000th time, what about us Dutch people?

I certainly don't have a credit card and I refuse to use PayPal to pre-order from English sites.

And the Belgians. :P
Meh. Too late, anyway.

I have to admit, I too was hoping for a really special Collector's Edition for this last part, rather than the rather anaemic one we appear to be getting. But who knows? Perhaps, like The Lord Of The Rings, we can hope for a special Extended Edition cut series of all three games, in a super-deluxe version comprising art books, soundtracks, making of docs and specially commissioned extra areas/gameplay somewhere down the road. In the meantime, whilst I too have complained about the overpriced version of ME3 CE here in England at £70, it hasn't stopped me from ordering the Gears of War 3 Epic Edition at £100, simply because the weight of worth in that particular set appears to outweigh the cost. In short, I don't mind paying serious money, and I hope this shows so, if I feel I'm getting a decent set in return for it - which clearly I personally don't feel with the ME3 CE at the moment.

It would be nice if Bioware confirmed if it truly is GAME/Gamestation.co.uk exclusive. People all over Europe are waiting for preordering to open for Amazon.co.uk and Play.com etc.

Retailers sometimes have exclusive special/limited editions, like GAME has the Uncharted 3 and Resistance 3 special editions as exclusives. My guesses are that you can only get the ME3 special edition from GAME, which is why I had to pre-order it from there, otherwise I'd have pre-ordered it from Amazon. I'm not sure if its a timed exclusive though, like the Killzone 3 collector's edition.

I pre-ordered the Mass Effect 3 - N7 Collector's Edition at Amazon.de (Germany) for €74.99
This is the most complete version there is (and most likely will be), right?

Pretty much :) Only thing that could happen is some retailer exclusive in-game dlc like it was with ME2.

After playing the dlc for dragon age 2 it restore my faith in bioware and will be pre--ordering things next month.

This indeed. When is this coming to the Netherlands?

You will have until, pretty much, the week before release to preorder. They haven't said the editions are numbered or limited so you've got many months to go.

That host on Bioware Pulse stated that they were indeed limited.

Indeed, I saw that too. It might be just marketing on his part, but I wouldn't bet on it. Best bet for everyone who really wants it (and those who can, of course), is to pre-order now. Most stores only credit you for the money of the pre-order when it actually ships (actually, I don't know any online store who doesn't do this), so you'll have plenty of time to cancel if you want, but you can't pre-order if they stop the pre-order period for it.

Play safe. :)

He also follows you:wizard:. I'm fine with him not fighting with you on missions, CE owners shouldn't have an advantage over SE owners.

It eats mechanical parts, poops screws and helps Garrus with his calibrations (or, alternatively, Garrus will try to calibrate your robo-dog).

But limited how? That's the important thing. Dragon Age 2's Signature Edition was limited in that you could only guarantee getting it by pre-order (Some stores stocked it post-release, but they went quick), but it wasn't limited in that there was only a set number available. Iohanna was right in that to guarantee getting one you have to pre-order as soon as possible, but we've not been told in which way it's limited (I would suspect it's limited in that no more will be made post-release), so my opinion is that there's no real rush to pre-order but that I would still advise people to pre-order sooner rather than later.

Will the character you get acces to with CE be something you can download later on with the regular edition?

Considering the "additional character" thing was removed from the ads real quick, it may not even be in the CE any more. Or perhaps it's not exclusive any more. Or perhaps everyone will have to get it by DLC purchase. Or it's been scrapped. Or... we don't know =)

I've got my CE preordered just in case ^^ Heck, I've got the CE for the other two, might as well have it for ME3 too =) Looks good on me shelf!

Kinda bummed that it doesn't feature a making of disk, it would have been nice to get a ME1 bonus disk level of content for the "epic finale".

Thanks for the answers!

I don't know whether or not I want to spend that much money on getting a robo dog, a small lito-something whatever that is, and some alternate outfits...

Felt like this question had to be quoted once more. I've seen the regular edition of ME3 available in some shops (but not nearly all!) and The Illusive Collectors Edition is nowhere to be found. Not even Bol.com has it. What's going on?

Edit: For the record, it took a few hours for bol.com to start selling the incredibly limited edition of Star Wars: The Old Republic, yet no dutch shop has the ME3 CE available for pre order, and it was announced months ago...

Same for us Belgians, here.
Just order the damn thing on Amazon.fr. The German version was going to be in German and in English, so I'm assuming the same holds true for the French version. (Do be so kind as to correct me if I'm wrong.)
