I certainly don't have a credit card and I refuse to use PayPal to pre-order from English sites.
Meh. Too late, anyway.

Retailers sometimes have exclusive special/limited editions, like GAME has the Uncharted 3 and Resistance 3 special editions as exclusives. My guesses are that you can only get the ME3 special edition from GAME, which is why I had to pre-order it from there, otherwise I'd have pre-ordered it from Amazon. I'm not sure if its a timed exclusive though, like the Killzone 3 collector's edition.StammyFi wrote...
It would be nice if Bioware confirmed if it truly is GAME/Gamestation.co.uk exclusive. People all over Europe are waiting for preordering to open for Amazon.co.uk and Play.com etc.

I pre-ordered the Mass Effect 3 - N7 Collector's Edition at Amazon.de (Germany) for €74.99
This is the most complete version there is (and most likely will be), right?

You will have until, pretty much, the week before release to preorder. They haven't said the editions are numbered or limited so you've got many months to go.Talosred wrote...
Think pre-ordering the collector's edition in August would be to late?
After playing the dlc for dragon age 2 it restore my faith in bioware and will be pre--ordering things next month.

personally i think it would be cool if it can go on missions and stuff with you.pmac_tk421 wrote...
What does this robotic dog do besides sit around on the normandy?
He also follows you:wizard:. I'm fine with him not fighting with you on missions, CE owners shouldn't have an advantage over SE owners.pmac_tk421 wrote...

It eats mechanical parts, poops screws and helps Garrus with his calibrations (or, alternatively, Garrus will try to calibrate your robo-dog).pmac_tk421 wrote...

But limited how? That's the important thing. Dragon Age 2's Signature Edition was limited in that you could only guarantee getting it by pre-order (Some stores stocked it post-release, but they went quick), but it wasn't limited in that there was only a set number available. Iohanna was right in that to guarantee getting one you have to pre-order as soon as possible, but we've not been told in which way it's limited (I would suspect it's limited in that no more will be made post-release), so my opinion is that there's no real rush to pre-order but that I would still advise people to pre-order sooner rather than later.A Great Biotic Wind wrote...

Considering the "additional character" thing was removed from the ads real quick, it may not even be in the CE any more. Or perhaps it's not exclusive any more. Or perhaps everyone will have to get it by DLC purchase. Or it's been scrapped. Or... we don't know =)strangedane wrote...
Will the character you get acces to with CE be something you can download later on with the regular edition?

Felt like this question had to be quoted once more. I've seen the regular edition of ME3 available in some shops (but not nearly all!) and The Illusive Collectors Edition is nowhere to be found. Not even Bol.com has it. What's going on?
Edit: For the record, it took a few hours for bol.com to start selling the incredibly limited edition of Star Wars: The Old Republic, yet no dutch shop has the ME3 CE available for pre order, and it was announced months ago...
