I preordered my ME2 collectors' a month or two (can't remember) before the release date and had no problem. You should relax and wait for retailers to have some more info.

Felt like this question had to be quoted once more. I've seen the regular edition of ME3 available in some shops (but not nearly all!) and The Illusive Collectors Edition is nowhere to be found. Not even Bol.com has it. What's going on? 

Edit: For the record, it took a few hours for bol.com to start selling the incredibly limited edition of Star Wars: The Old Republic, yet no dutch shop has the ME3 CE available for pre order, and it was announced months ago...

Well, even a shop like Bol.com doesn't have the normal edition of ME3. I keep getting the feeling that the Netherlands(and it seems, Belgium too), are left out of the CE-party.

Yeah I am from the Netherlands aswell and even the gamestores that got most of the special stuff don't got the mass effect 3 collector's eddition on it, just the normal one... Can please some clear that up why that is, are we dutchies left in the cold?

I keep trying to order from gamestop but i keep getting an error message....owell dosent look like im going to pre order this anytime soon seeing that its almost $90. i would pre order from another store but they charge my card right after checkout...cant afford that right now.

First of all, BioWare are Canadian. Secondly, they're a developer, not a publisher. The pricing and availability of the CE is not something BioWare have a hand in, it's EA doing that. If you have a problem with it, rally against EA - Not BioWare specifically.

Amazon.fr is cheaper, I believe. Only 75 EUR, so far. :/  (Approximately 108 USD.)

Meh, after reading through this thread, I think I'll just get the Digital version of this. Still expensive at 69,90 Euro's (on Origin) but not as bad as some of the prices i've seen mentioned here and with the same in-game stuff. The rest of it will be PDF's and MP3's I guess.

In what part of my post did i say bioware was american, that they are a publisher, control pricing or to rally them specificly. nobody is that stuped
ea obviosly deals with distribuion of content ect.

I belive they have not. Everybody just assumes that because they are only retailers selling them atm (in UK).

Help me please, I am totally prepared to show my support and appreciation for BioWare and the MassEffect franchise (I’ve bought ever DLC for both games) I Even bought an N7 hoodie and am contamplating buying a model ship! But if I’m going to buy a special edition i would rather have something tangible.

Finally, when i ordered DragonAge2 from Amazon.co.uk i was automatically boosted up to the special edition. Will MassEffect3 be granted the same boost?
I've had ME3 normal edition on pro-order for months, so this would be a real nice 'gift' from BioWare / EA

UK exclusive to game (or this is where I preordered and ONLY place i have found) - it on there atm for £69.50

Actually, the CE version is available over at Gamestation UK,
and the PC version (the one linked) is roughly £10 cheaper.

In short, the CE edition is currently available in the UK currently on GAME UK and Gamestation. For Digital download yes, it's only available on Origin.

If I'm not mistaken, Digital Edition Artbooks and Lithos usually come as PDF files.

If you are talking about the PC version, then I guess it should work fine. Consoles usually have more such problems. But, given the time of shipment and difference in price, you'll probably be better off buying in Europe anyway. You might want to be more specific on the version you want to buy so we can give you a more definitive answer.

www.nedgame.nl for example just addes gears of war 3 ce this past week.
I actually asked them if they will be getting Mass Effect n7 edition but they said: we cant promise or add a game at the pre order if we dont know for sure if were getting it.
But they got gears of war 3 ce added a bit late, so hopefully they will do the same with mass effect

I just pre-ordered my CE from JB-HI-FI in Parramatta, Australia and i noticed that they still mention that the CE comes with a DLC character and mission. And before anyone says its the dog, the image also mentioned the dog came with it, the two texts were seperate.

So I am wondering if the accidental leak that appeared on EA store about the DLC character was a mistake does that mean we will still get a DLC character.

I would love to know why Best buy does not have any Mass Effect 3 PC Collector's Editions, but it has the 360 and PS3 editions.
