They just got the preorders up yesterday in Finland, so expect your region to have them shortly.

BT Games in SA have the N7 Edition listed as available for preorder, but they don't have a price listed. I did see on Origin that you can get the digital N7 edition for the PC about R 550

No offense, but that's a ridiculous reason to not use GAME. The mistakes of the UK postal service are nothing to do with GAME, and it's hardly fair to attack them for someone else's mistakes.

Sure it's quite stupid that I'm blaming EVERYTHING on GAME. Because well if it was UK postal service that done goofed up then it could also happen to Amazong or any other online store from UK . I guess I have to figure out where to preorder

I still have yet to see a few questions truthfully answered...

1.) Where is the N7 Assault Rifle / Heavy Weapon (N7 Grenade or Missile Launcher...Maybe a Chain Gun...)

2.) Where is the N7 Armor / Visor / Something? I mean you have N7 gear in there but we need more than just a half-assed equipment pack! Stop acting like the EA who released DLC for Dead Space; bundle it all or don't do it!

3.) Why are we getting some "dog" who probably won't follow us into combat....I mean..really?...No ones going to notice if we get a dog or not...this isn't multiplayer....Unless the dog really IS a "support" character that "always" follows you....God...

4.) Why exactly are we only getting unique uniforms for Liara and "Vega"?...Why not all of the characters?..Why not Liara and Garrus (the only two we are semi-confermed to be with us 100% of the time so to speak). Most of us probably won't use Vega unless they are super homosexual.

5.) Its a strange question but; since EA is a money hungry coagulation of sh*t, why didn't they fork over more money for an Uber Edition?..I mean it would have gotten them paid more in the long run; considering most of us would have paid for a special gun prop or something..Look @ Dead Space! They had a friggen Plasma Cutter made after that friggen game! Why can't you guys do something awesome for Mass Effect?

There's alternative uniforms for Ashley and Kaidan too in the CE.

I'm reasonably content with the Collectors Edition released. I'm glad they didn't go for an 'Over-The-Top-MW2' styled CE. Wouldn't have wanted a Normandy SR2 or N7 Helmet lying around - just standing there, static for years and years. It's kewl at first, but after a time...it just becomes somewhat awkward...

I agree. While it might have been nice to have a model ship or gun, the novelty will son wear off.  Let’s be honest, the art book will only get minor usage. I'll probably look at it a few times (whilst on the bog in all probability) and put it on the shelf with my "HTML for dummies" and "Teach yourself Pascal" books!

And at 32 years of age I'll be too embarrassed to put the lithograph up on the wall so it'll stay in the box probably, along with the N7 patch that I won’t be asking my wife to sew onto my jumper .

I've opted for the SE because I love this game, and would no doubt end up buying all the DLC anyway if it came separately (and I fully expect many more pointless DLCs to follow, including over powered weapons and armour, a dodgy replacement tank or ground vehicle and a few dialogue free missions that I shall also buy  )

I'm honestly glad this is the “Special Edition” they have chosen, as anything else would have been a waste of money.
I mean answer truthfully, what would you do with a model MassEffect gun or SR2?  Put it on the shelf, that’s what.

 ....Oh dear, this post is starting to look very negative, but thats not the point I’m trying to make, let me try again;
Whilst I probably won’t get much use out of the physical elements of ME3SE, I am fully prepared to support EA / BioWare and the MassEffect Francis by purchasing whatever special edition game they release.  I didn’t buy ME2SE and i regret that decision, so intend to rectify that by getting the ME3SE instead.

And I’ll be front row when the MMO comes along too .....

my question is why is the old republic getting an uber colletors edition or whatever you want to call it, with a statue and all the trimmings and all we get is a metal tin, a patch and a tiny lithgraph, just think its a bs collectors edition for the final act in a trilogy of a landmark game, why not put out the uber one, from the posts on here, there are many, many people that would want one for this game, i just dont get it

MassEffect3 is the last in the series, but the Starwars MMO is a long term investment for BioWare.
People have to pay to buy it then pay a subscription to keep playing it so they need to entice LOTS of people to buy it. What better way than to offer up statues and other toys in a collector’s edition? 

When you think of it, it seems a bit redundant to offer such things on a game that is on the way out (massEffect).
Shame, but makes good business sense, and make no mistake, BioWare and EA are in business to make money.
