This is entirely do-able. I remember one of the devs contacting EA in the Netherlands for more info about the availability of the DA2 SE in the Netherlands and stuff. Worked out perfectly.Melancholic wrote...
Indeed. Seriously, Bioware/EA. Get the collector's edition pre-order available in Dutch stores...

I'd hold of ordering until we know all the details of Origin for ME3. You could end up intalling what amounts to spyware on your computer.
I understand this is the kind of attitude that makes them get away with it, and that this is a chance to take some kind of great moral stand, but I am weak and really want Mass Effect 3...

I'm wondering this now too.Tup3xi wrote...
Physical CE or digital version of it. I still can't decide it. Both cost the same (69,90 €). Over 2x more than what I paid for Skyrim...
I don't care much for the box, the disks or the artwork, the fabric patch, or even the mini litho.
The digital stuff can all be had with the digital deluxe edition, and it should be possible to get the artbook, soundtrack, comic, as dedicated products.
Reason for this was I was looking back through the limited edition of ME1, and to be honest apart from the art book I am questioning why I am even keeping the thing.
Edit: In fact I'm hoping the upcoming Artbook in february will have all the previous stuff combined.

According to Finnish Origin site, you get the digital version of art book, digital litho, digital comic, digital art about Shepard, digital soundtrack and the rest DLC stuff. You don't get the piece of fabric, naturally and it's all digital. If the digital version would be cheaper then I would obviously get it instead but since that's not the case...Curunen wrote...

It would be nice if the digital deluxe edition only contained the extra ingame items and the soundtrack, but no digital version of the art/comic, because I will end up getting them separately anyway (like redemption and the ME2 art book).

Because the Collector's Edition of ME2 won't. The digital versions run fine, but the disc-based versions require the game discs to run.
It is really, really annoying to have to put the discs in everytime I want to play.

Bolded 1: I would like to know the answer to this myself...especially considering DA 2 can be played with the disc being int he system....and the same accounts for the witcher 2...

Like the ME2 collector armour/rifle and incisor - I've got the PC version, and there's the option to redeem on the 360.
If so I'll probably get the 360 CE as a physical copy, and standard digital version for PC.

This! Wasn't aware that the collector's edition for ME2 requires one to run it with the disc >_<

Does anyone know if the CE is still coming with an exclusive character and mission? I thought one of the devs said it wasn't any more, but the page on the ME website stills says it will have a character and mission. If I'm going to splash out on the CE - which is twice the price of the standard one in the UK - I really want to know what I'm getting.
As far as I know, yes it is coming with a bonus mission and character. Early info labeled the mission as "The Prothean". This has been denied by Casey Hudson as outdated info that was accidentally left in for the information release.
So we're getting a bonus mission and character with the CE edition, and it's PROBABLY got nothing to do with the Protheans.

It was only listed in the original Collector's edition, but it most likely is going to be like Zaeed and come with all new copies of ME3.
Just a guess.

Great, now I need to decide whether its worth £30 for an extra character, some guns, an art book and the soundtrack. I'm leaning towards not worth it, but then again I may as well treat myself. Decisions decisions...
I may wait and see whether they actually tell us who this character is, but somehow I don't think they will.

No moral judgment here. I'm just waiting for a better user experience; companies have backed off of excessively invasive DRM's before, and I hope that Origin will be, or become, optiional for playing ME3.

Awesome. Just pre-ordered as well. With ME2 I also pre-ordered very early, so I got the game one day after release. I was very happy since I heard lots of people had to wait for a week or more because of some shipping issues..Forsythia wrote...

I hope they ship ME3 one day early so I can get it on the day of release instead of the day after xD But from prior experience, Bol doesn't do that unfortunately... They ship it on the day of release.
