I really wanted to pre-order the CE but since we don't know if and to what extent Origin will be required to play the game I am not going to.

You will only need to origin to authenticate the game and files, after that you don't need origin from what I have heard. Anyways preordered 2 copies DDE from Gamersgate and CE from Gamestation.

I just wanted to add to this once you register Dragon Age, Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age 2, you are automatically linked to an Origin account (including Bioware Social Network).

I Saw the advertising box thing, they put on the shelves at EB for ME3. I have to admit the advertising box for FF13-2 was more attractive. (Because it had a hot female on the front.)

I'm having the same internal conflict. Anyone know anything more about this? Will we be able get dlc etc from the bioware site or is it Origin specific this time? 

I really want to get this game in all it's glory, but I don't trust Origin further than I could virtually kick it.

£70 could buy you 2 slightly new games, so it could be cheap if you think that would be a better deal

Spec-Ops - In Poland you can get N7 edition for 180 zlotys, which is 41 euro. 70 pounds is around 350 zlotys, which I could use to buy 3-4 games.
Mark Epix - the same for me.

 I would say the AU people should pre-order quickly.. FF13 CE  is all sold out; and thats only out a month before ME3.ME3 CE is not far behind it according to a contact.

I am from Bulgaria, the CE for the last two games I bought (Duke Nukem Forever & Starcraft II Wings of Liberty) cost the same. In my currency 70 pounds is  about 160 lv. which is around 80 euros.

Its the CE edition and cheaper than game yet technically they are the same company lol
was gonna preorder the digital version one but for only £5 more i can get this one and its the physical version. I admit i got ME1 and 2 in a digital format from steam but as steam doesnt look like its gonna get it to sell id rather get retail version.
