Dunno for how long i was looking where to pre-order CE from that it would be the cheapest but then reality kicked me in my behind "Wait,ME3 CE is totally worth every single penny",pre-ordered and counting time till march!

 Direct2drive has a notice on the top of their page that they are moving to Gamefly.

Gamefly has their own digital client now. I noticed ME3 is not for pre-order on Gameflys PC downloads pre-order section.

Any idea whats up? Will those who already pre-ordered ME3 DDE on D2D recieve it? Will the D2D version of ME3 require Gameflys digital client and/or will it use Origin? Will we be able to recieve the ME3 key and activate it on Origin instead of downloading through Gameflys client?


Also, I noticed the ME3 DDE listed on D2D does not list the additional mission and character, but on the Origin store page it does. Will the version from D2D/Gamefly have the mission too?

So what kind of case will the game come in exactly? The case that was holding the game in ME1's collectors edition was made of cardboard, and the case for ME2's was tin. I'm assuming that the game disc will come in the tin with Manshep on the front and Femshep on the back. And everything else will be in an N7 box? Can someone confirm this for me?

I do buy stuff like collector's editions, I guess I have that kind of mindset - perhaps even moreso with ME, I have ME1 and (actually two copies of) ME2 and never play them.

Still, I wanted BF3 a heck of a lot more than I want ME3, and I haven't bought that because of the Origin requirement.

I think people should put their money where there mouth is (and not where it isn't), because giving someone the right to rifle through your other stuff just so you can play a game seems pretty lame to me.

pre-ordered back in july as soon as it came on my local game shops system didn't even have a price. am loving the CE content though, i usually buy the limited/collector's edition stuff for the extra in-game content. I'm on such a crappy net connection it's easier for me to shell out a bit more cash than to wait a few days to download 1GB. Plus i'm pumped about the lithograph and the art book.

Pre-ordered a while back. Was a choice between this and *gasp* Final Fantasy XIII-2 ce. Value alone ff13-2 doesn't even come close to what you get in this ce. I have a nice bdu jacket that patch will look great on.

I'm assuming it will be the same as ME2 CE Game will come in a tin with some DLC codes for in game items and physical extras will be in a stylish card like material case that will open up to reveal the items on top of one another. ME2 was quite smexy though as it had a second sealing which the Cerberus network card held together.

I've gotten all the Mass Effect limited editions so far & honestly if the were to come out with some sort of statue ultimate edition like Skyrim has that Dragon & Halo: Reach had Noble Team I would get it with out a doubt

They were planning to, but it never came to fruition, it's jut the N7 edition now. I kinda wanted a life size N7 breather helmet to display haha.

I was just wondering if the game is released on March 6th does that mean it ships out on March 6 and will arrive in the mail 2-3 business days later or it arives prior to the 6th and the post office cannot put it in your mailbox till the 6th?

Hey dude, welcome to the forums.
To be perfectly honest it depends on the store you preordered from, but generally they will begin to post a couple of days before release so you get the game on the day it comes out. As I said though no guarantee.

the wait has been brutal

you guys are all saying march 6th for release date...yet here in uk its saying the 9th on origin's site and gamestation(where i preordered it from) for the CE and its saying the 9th for the standard as well on play.com, zavvi and all the other sites. has it changed or something?
