I'd love to pre-order this, but I'm simply not going to get this at all if it's not on Steam. I've had way too many bad experiences with EA's digital download service in the past to go all in simply because they changed the name.

I can't even preorder off of Origin in Canada. I tried, with 3 different browsers, but clicking preorder brings up a popup window saying something like "Before we add this to your cart. Please make a selection" and a picture of the cover for the CE is there. It does nothing when clicked, there are no check boxes, nothing.

Gamestop in Canada doesn't have it listed for preorder yet. Come on Bioware, you're in Edmonton, Canada should be able to pre order your stuff at least at the same bloody time as the US.

Origin has both a digital and a physical one.  But with the digital one you get a high def digital print, and a 70 page high def digital artbook.  Pretty much the same with none of the physical stuff.  I'd rather have a physical copy.  I'll stash it all with my original copies of sweet games like Tie Fighter and add it to the collection.

This happened to me as well, and I'm in the U.S.

It worked with the ME2 collector's edition. You got the standard edition as a download because all the CE exclusives (whatever they were, I don't remember anymore) are downloadable from "Your registered game content". I hope it works out the same.

please tell me theres gonna be a playstation 3 version of N7 Collector's edition Ive been waiting since the day it came out on ps3. played it on xbox 360 over 100 times and could never stop playing mass effect 2 on ps3 with the excluive downloads. Im about to start playing on arrive which is exciting but what would make me more excite is mass effect 3 collectors edition also coming to ps3 hehe. I bought my exculive commander shepards hoodie just for the fun of it. Im not wearing it until this game comes out.

Are the Collectors edition and N7 editiion the same thing? If so can the N7 edition be bought/preordered from stores or only from EA/orings site?
