hmmmm not a bad idea seriously tho if u rly like mass effect its the last of the trilogy so the CE is worth it imo, im getting it mostly for the art book plus i plan on getting the ce for all the last installments for all my series of games (Dragon age 3 when it comes out, The witcher 3 if they even make it and ME3 ofc) gonna have them decorate my desk and eventually ill get the physical copies of mass effect as i got the steam versions just waiting for #2 to go down in price, #1 i can get for £3 easily lol

@Soriah Well, I'm still thinking about it and probably I will make my decision (to buy CE or not to buy CE ) a few days before game premiere
Because instead of CE I could buy bioware points So I'm still not sure
But ME is my beloved series

It's brilliant on EA's part, entice you with a small litho so you'll go to the Bioware storea dn buy the large ones.

INB4 there is pamphlet inside the box with an ad for the Bioware store.

That's not even adding the $8000+ Halo, Gears, Dead Space, Warhammer 40k, Alien, Blade Runner, Starcraft, Blizzcon, Transformers stuff I have displayed around my house, most of which is signed.

So did anyone else get the e-mail that they're running out of Collector's Editions? I hope that's not true, cuz I can't order mine for another month at least. I mean, I'm still seeing copies of Halo Reach Legendary Edition around Best Buy so I doubt they'll run out, did they run out when the did the collector's edition for ME2?

You better buy ME3 Collector Edition. Why? You won't have to pay for bonus character&mission separately.

Yeah the only time I've seen it is when you put down like five dollars at Gamestop or Best Buy.

I just preordered the collectors on amazon and my card won't be charged till it ships.

hmm wierd, even if u go into a store to preorder anything you normally only pay £1 here then the rest when u pick up the game, i do know that for massive titles like this Game are doing something like pay £5 deposit and even though your gauranteed a copy if you find it cheaper anywhere else they will refund the difference or something like that,

i wont even do that cus you have to wait til release date for it yet whenever i preorder anything online, i dont know if this is just luck, but i get it normally the day before so i can at least install it ready to play it on the day 1st thing, An example is skyrim we preordered it online got it day before and i installed it so at midnight that night i was able to play it right away rather than having to waste time on the day to install it.

The addition in-game content mention in the list is the mission and character. Also there's a picture you can click on that directly mentions the character and the mission.

Oh, thanks. it in the kind of threw me off when they didn't put it in the descriptions, they usually put everything that comes with it there, and the additional in game content sounded more like it was listing what it had, since it had "including" after it.

No problem, I didn't make the connection either until I clicked on the picture and noticed the mission and character listed as well, that made it easier to put 2 and 2 together.

I'm wondering, does the collector's edition come with a bonus disc?  I know the ME1 and ME2 collector's editions did so I would assume this would too.  I just don't see any posts/articles confirming it. Thanks.
(Note: I only read the first 5 and last 5 pages of this thread before posting this question so I'm sorry if it was answered elsewhere)
