I checked the other threads but didn't see it confirmed that you can definitely change classes again from 2 to 3, anyone know offhand?

I'd like to do another playthrough of ME2 for ME3, but I was wondering if ME3 will have the option to change classes again. I've played through Sentinel, Adept, Vanguard, Infiltrator, but I'd like to try Soldier once but won't bother if I can't switch back to Sentinel for ME3.

you probably can. everybody likes to try new things. also people like to redesign shepard. First time its lips were too big, second time its cheeks were way too big, third time i accidentally gave it blond eyebrows, fourth time i chose red hair instead of brown accidentally. Although one thing does make me think you wont be able to do this because when trying to import me2 save into me2 after you beat it, you cant change classes.

Is there some bonus for using the same class all the way through? Besides specialization missions in ME I?

I used to help her (her being a former team member and all) but a friend of my mentioned that was "bad" to do, ie Renegade oriented without giving Regnegade points.
I am trying to be as Paragon as possible, what would you suggest? (I intend to do Lair of the Shadow broker next time - can those 2 things be combined?!)

You know, as tempting as it was to kill the eclipse sister and vido of the blue sons, i think it will help to keep them alive because after sparring the eclipse sister she might come to your aid in me3 along with the rest of eclipse. Also if Vido got away i think there will be something in me3 where zaeed goers to him and says whats in the past is in the past and he gets vido to help them as well as the rest of the blue sons. Also I just realized something. At first i thought it was a good idea to save the asari from virmire but when i had zaeed with me and i met her in me2 after i let her go again he said "thats gunna come back to bite you in the ass someday". i think that was foreshadow.
I can see the Eclipse one working, but Zaeed? He's been wanting revenge for 20 years, and he's still pissed. I doubt he's willing to let bygones be bygones.
And I think Zaeed meant that letting people go was going to bite him in the ass, not specifically her.

I think it'd be neat in ME3 if Engineers got bonuses on modifying weapons at a workbench.
For example, if you were a soldier and added to your weapon, say, a frictionless coil you may get a 10% cool down bonus. Whereas if you were playing as an engineer and installed the same frictionless coil you'd get a 30% cool down bonus (because... well, 'cause you're a freaking engineer. Technology is your speciality).
Maybe a class specific bonus for adepts could be reduced recoil on all weapons in game play. Neural implants cause the user to generate a mass effect field around the weapon at the exact moment they fire. The weapon briefly gains a large mass increase which offsets the recoil. Because momentum is mass multiplied by velocity (p = mv) if the mass goes up (and the momentum is constant) then the velocity must go down. The gun doesn't have as much kick due to the mass increase and hence there's not as much recoil.
Hybrid classes (sentinel, vanguard and infiltrator) would inherit the bonuses of both parent classes, but said bonuses wouldn't be as good individually as their respective parent classes bonuses.
Probably just hopeful thinking, but stuff like that would be really neat.

Maybe this has been mentioned before, but I really hope that in ME3, helmets are removed during conversations!
Why?
And how will this work in hostile environments? Such as no atmosphere?

Actually, that's already nearly a confirmed feature. "Nearly" because I cannot provide a prooflink, but am sure I've seen this in a form of dev promise somewhere.steej wrote...

Regarding your concern - obviously, the programmers at Bioware are smart enough to teach the game to distinguish hostile environments and non-hostile. And, according to that, remove the helmet or leave it in place.
