Hey chris and the bioware staff love everything u guys do. Here's the thing im doing one final mass effect 1&2 playthrough for ME3 but I have a problem with the carry over data from 1 to 2. It doesnt carry over much at all and im playing every quest in game to prove me right. I find it odd that everyone shepard encountered in mass effect bearly acknowledge him saving them from saren even though it was down played. The top citadel, alliance, "omega", and well informed characters in mass effect2 pay little if no attention to his previous action, or the fact that he died and came back. Ive read revelation and ascencion and the two compliment eachother although their the set decades apart. 1&2 does a story jump by leaving out the missing two years of rollover content, not even through story telling by a NPC do you guys pay it forward. The CerberusNewsNetwork was cool and all but by GOod if ashley was my love interest in 1 shouldnt she have more to say to shep at two years, I mean tali wouldnt shut up. starting up a standalone story arc was good and all but u left out alot for those you carried over content. Helena blake selling out to aria was good the feros survior thing good, the noveria cop thing alright even the rachni queen thing was interesting but we met them all in the most convenient of sircumstanses, seriously all of them were on the same planet at the same moment and as me and they are just walking distances away from eachother. Shepards Destiny Line can't really be that thin. We touched down on far too many planets and space stations for Shep not to meet and greet them in these other location. EA should monitor not meddle. Mass Effect may have been over laced with content that took countless hours to go through but thats why it was the perfect space opera rpg. In its sequel which was a masterpiece also it was jam packed with non stop action packed missions the story was top notch even the squad character develop was great, TIM well he was TIM a great npc, the villian elements were summer blockbuster worthy. But my main problem with me2 was shepards development he wasnt as wide eyed to the galaxy as before, we didnt get time to grow him all over again, he was non longer my "son" he became my "hold your hand while we cross the street older brother". I connected more with the crew and supporting cast than with shepard eventhough the games built on us the players living through shepard but I felt no matter the choice I made paragon/renegade he/she did their own thing with it. Please Please Please take time on building shepard. He's human after all. There should be fear at times he/she will be fighting an unknown, the reaper horde armada. He/she should cry because billions of lives are going to lost and he's going be most likely going to make the decisions that save or destroy them laugher and anger when when the moment demands it, come on its the end of galaxy it cant all be doom and gloom. I dont want a superhuman superhero and im sure I can vote for the others when saying we just want a superhuman superhero human. Thank you
