Yeah, that line was badass but stupid. Some strategy is required to defeat such force.

1:36 and 1:53 marks of the Extended Walkthrough Part 1 video: is the pistol launching a grenade of some sort... or is this a talent with very fast animation?

I think that's Concussive Shot. Not sure though...

Seems like it... but for a pistol?  I'm all for heavy firepower... but this is a stretch.  That is something I'd expect to see with a shotgun or maybe an assault rifle attachment.

Hence why that's probably a renegade response.

I cannot wait, everything looks AMAZING. Btw, might just me, but sounds like Mordin has a new voice actor?

"The Community" link on the ME3 website leads to the wrong ME section of the forum.

I've never been a fan of voice recognition systems since the reports of it causing longterm strain on the users speech organs, due to the user starting to become naturally tense and artificial when using such systems in order to maximize recognition effect.

Things might have changed since I read about it back then and systems have become way better to recognize speech patterns, but I'm not confident enough in it to want to 'play with my health'.

Anyone else find the scores from the trailers to be a bit... uninspired?

(Seriously when will people learn it's classical music/instrumentation that provides the epic WOW feel, not GRAAHHH ROCK AND ROLL)

We are talking about BW marketing department here. So never. What worries me is if they are right and younger people think R&R conveys epicness better than, let´s say, the Riddle of Steel.

The thing is, it doesnt need telling.  It's just that the next time a movie or game does music right, (a la Halo 1, or Conan, or anything scored by John Williams) those same kids will be tripping over themselves trying to figure out why it seems so epic.

EDIT: I've been had , in the demo trailer comentated by Hudson, the (cheesey) scene with the little kid in the vent, has classical instrumentation.  Didn't even notice it, which is a good thing for making a mood.  There is hope yet.

Gotta keep my fanboyism in check.  Bioware has yet to do anything glaringly bad.

are the demos set at "rediculously easy?' The cerberus troopers seem to be wearing tin foil armor. Not complaining, just curious. I would imagine insanity to involve more than just a few shots to take them down.

The "behind closed doors" demos will be the first new ME3 content since the EA press conference.

That origin video is really cool. Though they did mess up and use a modern map.

Heavy metal in a Mass Effect soundtrack?? Really?? I'm not normally one for hyperbole, but that right there is a damn catastrophe.

Please metal makes everything better.

I've been listening to metal for almost 20 years and it needs to stay the hell away from Mass Effect.

Why do I always agree with you?

But yeah, TW2 was not bettered with the inclusion of (thankfully a minor amount) metal pieces.

The demos have modifications that makes it easier for the developer to stay alive.

BIOWARE games DO NOT need kinect or any fancy new ways to play games. We just want the great stories (excludes DA2) you guys were used to give us.. ):

Kinect is an option.  Use it or don't.  Simple.

So much stinkin' drama in this forum.  I for one am more excited than ever for this game.

This!  \\m/

My Shep is a total metalhead.  I've long advoated for the sci-fi themed metal band, Star one, for my ME soundtrack!
