When the interviewer just asked about the extended roleplaying elements Mr Hudson basically said they are brought to a new level, you can evolve your powers more.
This is what I don't get. The amount of powers or how I set them up is well down the list as far as roleplaying goes for me. Decisions, story line, companions are the main elements of roleplaying for me. It's always near impossible to get these 'roleplaying' discussions to acheive anything because the original poster in these threads never defines what roleplaying is to them.

I feel like this game is going to be great; sorry to those who feel otherwise.

Let me make this simple: we are improving both the RPG and Shooter aspects of ME3

I was misrepresented in an article recently, which made it sound like I wanted to remove RPG elements and stats from combat. (cont.)

What I actually said was, I wanted RPG progression to have a more meaningful impact on combat, but that was misrepresented as (cont.)

"cutting rpg stats" we actually have more stats in me3 that affect combat, and the overall impact of rpg progress on combat is greater

Anyway sorry for the longish tweet but I just wanted ot clear that up, and a few people were asking me what was up!

I just watched a great little heartstrings-pulling scene with a small boy during the wake of the Reaper attack from that extended GameTrailers piece just now.

RPG stuff just not appropriate for the E3 trailers.
Yeah, its all about dudebro shooters now, its not like ME3 is an RPG /sigh
Why not? Why dont show how powers change over time, eg. LVL 1 Singularity vs LVL 3, in a combat scenario? Do they even "change"?
Why not show Weapon customization they said they had? Ubisoft did and that was in Microsoft's conference. Mass Effect has been shown in 2 conferences now + 2 live demos on GameTrailers and all of them had been shooting galleries in small corridors. I'd talk about exploration but even ME2 lacked that.
Why not show armour, companion or other kinds of customization? even a simple video of armour changing over a character would suffice...
I'd write more examples but I can't think of anything else this games has that resembles an RPG, sadly. So tell me, what is appropriate for E3 trailers? Guns and Explosions? Every single game is about that, I thought ME3 was suppossed to be a dfifferent game.

All those equal spoilers. Companions not so much, but I understand why they're taking their time since I doubt there will be many new companions.

If you were keeping up with ME3 you would actually learn that they are improving RPG elements.

Yeah, seriously. We are asking where are the Roleplaying elements in the 4 live demos + online trailers you have shown. It's not like you couldn't release an "RPG elements" trailer/mini feature for sites covering the event.
Try to keep up.

Having said that, two requests: Please DO something about the human skin-textures, they look paper-dry in 1 and 2 and apparently also in 3. And come on, give your matte/scenery crew some love and allow for a zoom so we can admire their work (and more than just the scenic views you can do w the eye-icon) :-)

By making a trailer/demo centered on RP elements? How about a dialogue scene or a 'living breathing' world/envirronment, etc.?
