It's all just based off looks. I mean, look at the conflicts with Ashley. People object that she's hotter now probably because they Virmired her. You know those same people want to get with her now.

People who Virmired her don't give a crap and are concerned with Kaidan's look (which is perfect BTW, the best of the 4 I think). It's her fans that are concerned and really, I can understand it. She's wearing a skirt and high-heels. I mean c'mon. Hair is one thing. Skirt and high-heels is kinda taking it too far from her ME1/ME2 style.

A skirt? I never saw that. I saw her more catsuit-like armor, but not a skirt. Maybe I need to watch the demo again...

But anyway, I must say that all the negativity I've seen on the board for Vega makes me more inclined to like him. It's silly, I know. But I do get a bit frustrated when I see so many people make baseless assumptions.

Whilst anything is possible with BioWare's writing, I would genuinely be shocked (and impressed) if this is the case.

Also wow, just a passing comment but that Ashley outfit is, sorry lovely BioWare artists, pure fail

Horrible colours, horrible mini-skirt, horrible style.

That said, many of the AA outfits in ME2 were horrid, so I guess it's not that much of a shock. A goddamn skirt though? On Ashley? That's pretty mean.

I just noticed on the high-res something even meaner than the mini-skirt looking bit - the artist managed to make it look like she's wearing high-tech suspenders. Good job defeating BioWare's whole "the future isn't horribly sexist" deal in a single outfit, BW. Especially as she's a Soldier, and should be wearing serious armour, not light stuff - I mean, Kaiden has armour clearly suited to a Sentinel/Engineer. So why not Ash?

Note that it's very different to take a sensibly-dressed character and make her wear something vaguely sexist, than to have a character who is already sexed-up and have them wear that sort of thing.

Meh Ashley's outfit doesn't seem that bad. She doesn't have a miniskirt really. Ash does have armor on her legs and it isn't like its revealing or anything. Hell to be honest it really isn't revealing and its no worse then light phoenix armor in Mass Effect 2. Also since I am forever blinded by her hotness and poetry to the point that killing Wrex, nearly breaking up with me on Virmire and annoying DLC armor doesn't matter to me.

Kaidan looks freaking awesome. Looks like he took a little hair gel and applied it will to his head lol.

"Liara honey I love you. That whole thing with Samara doesn't mean I want you to look like a Justicar."

James Vega is already getting hated. Come on Bioware is trying there best to give you a good a male character. Your hating him before you even here his voice lol.

Wierd, I thought Isabela looked a lot better than she did in the first game. Her face was a little pudgy, but still pretty attractive.
