Master Chief armor in ME3 from the FIRST Halo would be BOSS.

I didn't even know we can get a Prothean teammate. That's dumb, he would be like one of the collectors.

The character next to Liara is most likely James Vega, looks big, bad, and pissed off. My kind of teammate.

I guess since it's an appearance pack the outfits don't have to make sense. My guess Samara isn't a squadmate, so they gave Liara a Samara inspired bonus outfit.

That is still Kaidan in blue...

The face looks nothing like Kaidan, and the haircut is different. It's more of a fauxhawk as apposed to the pompadour. It's James Vega.

James Vega seems to have more shaved sides with the faux-hawk, while Kaidan appears to have a somewhat different hairstyle. Compare the armor here, however. The armor--down to the yellow-ish collar underneath the blue armor pieces--is the same, and the photo I posted is confirmed as Kaidan. I think the first photo is more like concept art of Kaidan, where he seems to have a more prominent widow's peak and more style to his hair.

could it be that james vega is not so defined because the player has the possibility to play with his appearence........

is he THE NEW SHEPARD, if you shepard died in ME2?
he could fit the profile: an alliance soldier,a believer in the institutions, he thinks the reapers are nonsense, but then....

if not who will be the new protagonist?

dude, James Vega is the red-shirt. he's jenkins of ME3. hes gonna ask all these questions about the galaxy and stuff, which will bring newbies up to speed, and then right before Shep is rescued, he's gonna die.

If your Shepard died in ME2 you're screwed. You will have to either import another save or play with a new one. Shepard remains the protagonist no matter what.

Vega looks like a bit of a porkchop... It's gonna be hard to get a new guy into the same light as everyone else, now that it's the end of the trilogy.

It's hard to form an opinion about James Vega off of that small unclear image. I'm curious to find out more about him (no, I don't want to romance him) I hope for those that would like a same same-sex love interest that he is indeed an exclusive (not bi) option.

There isn't much info about him at this point. I think harsh opinions should be reserved until some more details and better screenshots or artwork are revealed. Who knows, he may turn out much better looking than he appears to be in that single image there?

Seriously guys? That armor has to be one of the most coolest armors I've seen in the ME franchise. It makes him look like a total badass! Only if i could give that armor to all my squaddies :[ That would be amazing
