Vega's fine the way he is, meat, mohawk and all. I don't think "Jersey Shore Douche" when I see a pic of him, I see a military badass who get's sh!te done. I want a dudebro character, especially one for my ManShep to have "fun" with. Why is there so much opposition? Does every guy that Bioware makes have to be a model?
Half of this forum feels that they know more about BWs characters than the developers themselves.

Like the thread says, Vega is new, barely out of developement. We have no idea what he's going to be alike outside of a few tweets. If people are going to complain, it should be about how Vega will feel and play, not look.

I agree so long as Vega looks like a real person, and not like this:

Meh, I always loved the guys in GoW, but I can see why people would get turned off by it. I'm asking for a badass space marine with a backbone, not a musclehead with a steriod problem

You do realize they're wearing bulky-as-hell power armor, right? Looking past the fact that Cole Train is a trainwreck of steroids, they should look somewhat (more) normal, if still buffed to the max, out of their armors.Han Shot First wrote...

I'm not really digging the whole Gears of War-hate. Say what you want about the story or character designs, but there is literally not a more fun co-op game on the 360.

Well...it's nice to see a new body type at least. I am not going to judge James until I am at least 4 hours into ME3.

EDIT: I was a bit confused about having a new squad mate at the end of the story too ^ but I suppose having two new squad mates is a good thing as long as they are interesting characters. It would slightly duller if all eight (assuming there will just be eight) squad mates were people from the previous games (although I kind of wish we had some of the ME 2 squad mates in the ME 3 squad)

It was confirmed by two devs that they're not the same person I'm afraid :/Spatchmo wrote...

P.S. The logical reason as to why the characters in Gears of War look so beefed and muscular is due to the constant war environment and rigorous exercise and training, combined with the heavy armor that they wear. The same also applies to Cole Train, coupled with the fact that he was a professional athlete before he became a gear soldier.
P.P.S. Mass Effect and Gears of War are SCIENCE-FICTION games! They don't HAVE to fully abide by the rules of science.
