Next to Liara in her red Samara-y suit is a caucasian human male in heavy armor. Could this be James Vega formerly James Sanders?
He's big, just like Vega was described.

Maybe he's the DLC character said to be included in the collector's edition.

James Vega is a perminate squad mate, the CE edition includes an ADDITIONAL squad mate (if I understood BW blurb correctly).

I was going to complain about the s/s relationships, the cheezy suits, the poor frame rate, the poor presentation in general...I love the series and all but...What the **** is going on with shepards arm?!

1.) IGN Spelt Shepard - Shephard and the Reapers are now Reavers according to IGN... What?..

NO Grunt is infinitely cuter than that monstrosity! Especially his (and Wrex's) little tail. Aren't they just adorable?

Heck, how many hunters have you seen that wear their hair like that while out hunting?

It is imptacticle, Messy, and throws off your vision.

Practical and science fiction don't mix, I'm sure if you're able to look past flying cuttlefish you can also look past how practical a character wears their hair.

Your shallow if you judge Vega just by this one picture. As long as his character doesn't become the right hand human male like Kaidan and Jacob I will give him a chance.  

He also kinda reminds me of John "Soap" MacTavish from the modern warfare series.

 People with eyepatches are able to function fine, I assume with her it will be no different.

i think it's safe for myself to assume that they were caught off guard. They didn't know the exact date of invasion did they? i don't remember hearing that. Ashley is a renouned hardass for protocal "would you kiss anyone i asked you too?" "That depends sir, if you asked me to kiss a superior officer that would be a (illegal command? i forgot what she said) i would be required to strip you of your rank & relieve you of command....sir" anyone also notice Shep is also out of armor? and i like to speculate Vega ( if that is indeed whom the soldier in the trailer is) was on duty at the time of the attack, or if he is a specter like someone else said he is wearing a specter uniform ( i didn't really read up on Vega before so i dunno if he is) then maybe he is the ME3 Nihlus...hopefully without the death part.

I don't know. I kind of feel like Liara and Garrus will fill that role this time around. They are the only squadmates besides Anderson they've had in actual gameplay so far.

Maker, I swear some of you lot actually look for something to be disgruntled about. If you want your opinion to carry any sort of weight round here, might I suggest waiting until there's more information on the lad before hurdling over inconveniently placed obstacles? He might be an absolute badass, and you have no way of knowing if you're already dead set in your opinion based on a blurry image. Hm, I'm suddenly reminded of Sebastian Vael's very blurry "pic reveal" for DA2. Garnered a very similar reaction, if I'm not mistaken.

Regardless, I've decided James and Garrus will be my canon Shep's squaddie buddies for my first playthrough. I'll have a soldier (Vega), infiltrator (Garrus) and a sentinel (fem!Shep) ready to kick ass and take names, baby! BAMFs to the extreeeeeeeeeme.

Yeah, okay, I really shouldn't incorporate Cola, allergy medication, and this forum so late in the evening.

The blurry pic of Vega looks like a giant baby head on a linebacker's body.  But I'll reserve judgement until I see a better pic...
