I've heard that a lot of the equipment we had in ME2 would be carried over to ME3. Does this apply to DLC armor as well (the Recon hood, Kestral armor, etc.) ?

bioware have said about the weapons collected in the game but not DLC weapons and armor. I woould like that question answered as well

Some of it might, since the Mattock is making a return in ME3 and it was featured as DLC in ME2.

We'll have to wait and see.

Guns & more 'customizable' armor pieces I think so (Pepper items, Kestler pieces). But stuff like Blood Dragon Armor, Collector Armor I dunno.

 Yes stated on the Mass Effect wiki, the dlc weapons and armour will be carried over to ME3. Check out the ME3 section of the wiki

The DLC armour sucked because you couldn't remove the helmets and it just looked really over the top. I never bothered with it.

From what I've heard it's most likely that the vast majority of DLC equipment will be making a return. I think it would be foolish to not include most if not all of it... except the Collector Armor. Never ever use that thing.

From what i have seen/read i assume that they will not carry over, they will be included.
ME3 is not an AddOn, so you cannot compare it with DAA, its more like DAO->DA2.

Me too - N7 armor with the eyepiece is the way to go.

Considering that DLC is installed, I doubt ME3 will just import it. It may unlock inside ME3 when it sees you have it installed, but it will be on disc IMO.

I actually like the Kestrel armor except the chest plate, especially early on when Shep's just been rebuilt.  N7 logo would have been nice.

Can you get the Terminus armor anywhere in the DLC's I've not gone XBOX live yet and was wondering? Or was that just for the ME2 pre-order?
