Hello!

I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask this or if this question has been answered already (if so, please link the answer!).

Anyways, here's the thing. I played ME1 and ME2 a while ago. Installed and uninstalled and reinstalled the games several times, lost my old saved games, etc.

So now that ME3 is coming, I feel like I should replay the games once again to develop "my own" Shepard, choices I want, etc. But I remember hearing somewhere that at the start of ME3, you will be able to choose personally what happened in previous games without having to upload your old save. 

Yes, I know that you don't have to upload your saved character and that you can get the "default" start, but I personally dislike that one and want a different one. So, any chance on being able to choose the events of ME1&2 at the start of ME3 or I should just suck it up and go replay again and hope I won't lose my save this time?

I doubt they'll let you choose everything. You'd probably be better off replaying the first two games. The default for new characters in ME 2 was awful, 100% renegade and/or evil choices from ME1, and no sidequests.

New question: will PC and Xbox360 Players be able to import ME1 saves only or does it have to be ME1&2 or just ME2.

I remember hearing about the release of something like that brief comic thing they had available for DLC for ME2 that let you make the major choices of the first game that would do the same for ME 3.

It will probably be another Genesis. They will most likely let you choose the major decisions, but most will be default. Many of the small bonuses from doing the previous games, like Conrad Verner, will not be there though.
