One scene where they are exiting a court case, probably wearing casual wear, and you all label her as a ****. Like seriously wait for more pics to label her a ****.

Then I must not have hit a favorite of yours. I'm sure that Talimancers everywhere would howl louder than Chewbacca if that was done to her, though.
And fans of the other characters would be similarly outraged. And they'd be right to be if no reason was given.

I could also make a stab at religion with that comment but won't risk the ban, hopefully you'll figure it out
Funny how I'm not religious. I don't believe in random things just because some book or a bunch of self-interested pricks told me to. I'm not like those zealots that believe that dying for a the words of a book is considered the best way to spend their last moments.
Also, I do have proof.
Miranda.

Kaiden wears Heavy Armor in that scene.

Ya but your proof is bull to what your trying to prove. Miranda knew her looks gave her an edge, she used that. Isabellas dressing code was a strange way, however her way, to prove that she was and could be just like a man. A very strong stance for feminism in a very weird way.
Ash might have just gotten tired with taht pole up her a*s, who knows. Sometimes ladies like to have their hair down and look *gasp* good.

Aveline (armor)
Merrill (Chain Mail)
Kasumi (light armor)
Liara (Light Armor)
and then gave Miranda armor in a DLC.
I'd say they've learned very well.

Yes they learned one thing. Oversexualize than charge extra for DLC in putting proper armor on their womanfolk.

A. put her hair in a pony tail or bun.
B. put on Heavy Armor.
and that once things calm down you will be able to customize all party members like before.
it takes couple of seconds to pull your hair into a ponytail and you can do it while moving. it takes even less time to...."gasp" pull your hair out of your eyes and push it behind your ear. which is infinitly more practical then blocking your eyesight, while trying to shoot things.
and I guess it also means that the normandy has marines on it that hang out wearing heavy armor at all times, just in case... becasue the marine next to her? was fully suited up.
we haven't seen how Kaidan is dressed in this occasion, so I'm willing, reluctantly, to give in to "no time for armor" but I just have this...feeling that he'll actualy be wearing some. just a hunch.
its a long time before the game is out. we have seen only glimpses. there are a lot of exciting things about the game so far. but this character redesign... it makes me worried.

-I am right, and you are wrong, and if you disagree with my exact opinion you are apparently a sexist pig.
-Kaidan is wearing heavy armor, which totally justifies my point.
-I am so far in intelligence above the people on this forum that they can't understand my points.
Pro tip: If you were actually intelligent, you wouldn't have to make a dozen of suspiciously similar threads making the same point over and over. Based on your comment history, you also comment in completely different threads regarding different topics and make a reference to your tired catsuit joke.
Until you present me with evidence that you are correct, 100% factually correct, NOT BASED IN PREDICTION OR PREVIOUS TRENDS, that you know the precise reasoning for why Ashley isn't wearing armor, I will disregard you. Perhaps instead of calling people sexist pigs, a better passtme for you would be to create more than the same three insults.

What is barely hidden behind that "joke" is that the only thing that matters in a woman is how sexy she is.
People don't hate Ash because she wasn't sexy. They hate her because she's a arrogant racist b*tch. In other news... so a 20 min trailer tomorrow. Anybody think they'll put our fears to rest and put some "proper" armor on Ashley? I think as long as she zips that thing up it'll work since it doesn't look much thinner than real-life kevlar, but that's just me.
I wont hold my breath. This is Miranda and Isabella all over again. Bioware literally has learned nothing.
True.
And it makes me lol at these people who dismiss that suspicion. Like the religious people who say "Just because you don't have evidence that God doesn't exist doesn't mean you're right!" It's an unfair comparison, but I think it holds up.
Honestly, I think that using examples to plot this trend of Bioware's, and then coming up with a prediction as to how they'll be continuing with that trend, is more reasonable than basing something's existence off of absolutely no prior evidence at all.
Well, this is not how I wanted to end this day. G'day all!

Ashley is wearing light armor but how strong are her shields? We don't know. Is heavy armor more condusive to her duties as a Spectre or is Light Armor? She was basically acting as an investigator/spy in ME2 not a frontline soldier. And her armor in ME2 wasn't exactly figure-concealing.
Heck Shep has fraking bare arms during his escape and no one is tearing out their hair over that. Course, Shep is a cybernetic god of death so maybe he's not the best argument for such things...

I'm glad you have the sense to avoid follow the flock off the cliff, but that doesn't change the fact that you're acting like them. There is no evidence to prove or deny your theories. The thing you call "evidence" is mere speculation, like how the world was meant to end May 21, how its going to implode Oct 21, and how its going to flood Dec 21 2012 is all speculation. You see something happen and you believe you can now forsee the future.Elite Midget wrote...

If there's evidence that Ashley isn't wearing casual gear and fights like that without a story reason I'll personally say I was wrong and argue alongside you. If there's evidence that is just casual gear or she has a story reason for that (new armor prototype for example) then I'll simply be happy she got redone. But there is no evidence to support either side and all you're doing is pissing people off.

Correct me if Im wrong but how the hell can you retcon a new character. Miri. And how was Isabella a retcon, i think she was the one you were able to threesome with. Quite true to her character I think.
And if ash has good reason that BW explains why should it matter if she cahnged. Ive seen people change in 6 months more then ash changed in 2-4 years.

If I am called one than I feel that I should be allowed to do the same as well so that I'm on the same level of discuession as the slingers. They understand me better that way.
We are discuessing the game. This is about Ashley and how you've ruined her to appease a certian fanbase that never liked her in the first place. Fans should be allowed to voice their anger when time and again you ignore them and instead you try and reach out to those that don't care.
