Sure, but not when you're getting shot at. Then if you have any brains you put on your best armour and get your hair out of your eyes.

The Ashley I know had brains.

Not anymore.

I expect her to wear an air breather in space just like Miranda and Jacob did in ME2.

It's possible to dislike something and discuss it civilly without bashing the hell out of each other. (That goes for both sides of this particular discussion.)

Is wardrobe really so important that you would not buy the game over this? Would you throw away the entire story over that? In MGS 4, Snake isn't wearing his sneaking suit from the original Metal Gear Solid. I didn't get like this about it.

And yet the only screenshots of Ash that we've seen thus far are of her in situations where, based on Shepard's own appearance, it seems unlikely she'd be in her combat armor.

Are EM's rantings completely unbased? No, but at the moment I wouldn't call it a safe bet - more like a coin flip, at best. If we finally a get a damn combat video with her in it (you know, because she's a soldier and a Spectre, unlike that ****ing developer pet Liara), I'll be the first to start complaining.

Have you not learned from the past? You're making the same arguements that were made on Miranda and Isabella's behalf. Both times the worst came to be. Why should Bioware change when people don't care or keep giving them excuses?

Ya but your proof is bull to what your trying to prove. Miranda knew her looks gave her an edge, she used that. Isabellas dressing code was a strange way, however her way, to prove that she was and could be just like a man. A very strong stance for feminism in a very weird way.

Ash might have just gotten tired with taht pole up her a*s, who knows. Sometimes ladies like to have their hair down and look *gasp* good.

Retcon.

Correct me if Im wrong but how the hell can you retcon a new character. Miri. And how was Isabella a retcon, i think she was the one you were able to threesome with. Quite true to her character I think.

And if ash has good reason that BW explains why should it matter if she cahnged. Ive seen people change in 6 months more then ash changed in 2-4 years.

Not to ****** on your parade, but Miri is not a new character.

Because it's not that important.

Yes it is when changeing her that much destroys any sembelance of who she was in ME1 and ME2. This isn't Ashley my favorite character but an abomination that wants my Shepards man meat.

I see the only solution to enjoying ME3 now is by killing Ashley and saving Kaiden. At least he got smarter over time and discovered Heavy Armor. Ashley? She got hit with the stupid stick and got plastic surgery and implants.

In all past games the npcs have only have one outfit (barring slight colour changes). It's a fair assumption.

edit: Actually in me1 they all wore casual clothes on the Normandy.Maybe they all have personalised casual and combat outfits?... It'd be awesome but seems unlikely....

I was about to respond when you edited it in. In ME1 all Alliance personnel (not the aliens... well Liara too) wore casual armor aboard the ship. This is a large reason why I am not willing to accept that there is only one armor design without proof

Says you. There would be a much larger outcry if Tali or Garrus were ruined in a way that goes against their established character that fans grew to learn and love over the course of two games.

Wait I assumed you meant Merrill from DA:O/DA2.
Well, if were talking about Miranda, then she's in Mass Effect Galaxy, before ME2.

That was ME1. Look at ME2, hell even DA2. That's what you should be using as your examples.

She did not get plastic surgery, she just let her hair down. And if breast size is really such an "eye-opener" for you then you have bigger things to worry about.

Will your anger fix anything?
Will it make them change their minds?

Because if it is as inevitable as you say there is absolutely no point in complaining incessiantly about it is there?

Wasn't aware waiting for more information wss making excuses, but okay, whatever.

Miranda I never gave a **** about and I don't think you can compare DA to ME - one's a mildly military sci-fi epic, the other is grounded in Western fantasy tropes.

Funny how many fans in the past made many good point but Bioware never listened to them but instead changed their views to cater to the CoD crowd.

I thought Ashley's old look was fine, and the new look is even better. It was a great way to cap off the excellent demo. Nice job, BioWare. Just know you can't make everyone happy, especially the ones who post in this thread for 3 hours straight complaining about every damn thing. Good God.

People change. Life changes. I know several people in REAL LIFE who have swore they would never do stuff that they ended up doing anyway. It's called being a human, and being prone to have things in life make you change aspects of yourself.

It is. You sound just like the Miranda and Isabella backers that said that we needed more information and that what we saw wasen't the end product. You fooled everyone than and I'm sick of seeing people being fooled again with such self-assurance againstn the inevitable.
