If Ash's new look is only casual I'll be happy. It's about time she wore something flattering.
If that's what she goes into battle with however.

Good thing I left the poor girl to die before she could be turned into Miranda 2.0

Somehow I doubt it was a totally random decision. It is very unlike Ashley to value her looks more than her life. It's not a believable natural personality development imo.
I would respectfully disagree. In ME1 didn't Ash say something to Shep about how she'd like to show him some moves when you cross the dance floor? That didn't sound like someone who wouldn't let her hair down when given the opportunity. Besides, she is now a spectre. As a spectre she may have to...let's say use her charms to get info that she needs. What did that asari spectre wear in LOTSB? Does anyone remember cuz it been a while since I played.
Ashley is not the sort of person o use her... charms to get information. she's more likely to use her fists. more over being a spectre doesn't remove comon sence. lastly Tela Vasir wore actual armor (couldn't find good picture of her, so here it is, modded onto femshepard)
and as an asari, she was primarily a biotic NOT a soldier like Ashley, so she could get away with lighter armor. vanguards in ME1 used to be able to wear medium armor after training. Soldiers went with medium and could train heavy.
and the hair in her face, its just silly.
Thx for the pic to refresh my memory. I'm getting old. I certainly can see your points about the class distictions. That is completely valid. However, just my opinion, I don't think any of us should make blanket statements about what Ash would or wouldn't do. I mean we only had like 5-6 convos with her in ME1. I don't think that we've gotten her whole story or personality yet. From my understanding, spectres do whatever is necessary. If using her charms are what's necessary, then I personally believe Ash would do what she needs to do. But that's just me.

I think Ashley looks amazing, I love her hair and her outfit and this is coming from a person who never really liked her.

Sure let her hair down when she is in her casuals. I don't even think that outfit would necessarily be out of character if it’s just her casuals. She is allowed to dress up BUT not when she is in combat. “Use her charm’s to get info? Please god no, that does not fit and we already have that with Miranda. I'm also ok with Miranda. I would prefer she had better armour but that’s because I prefer everyone did. ME2 was a bit too rule of cool IMO. Miranda was a femme fatale from the get go and I don’t have a problem with that ( tho I dislike the camera angles). What I take issue with is them taking the strong sensible solider and doing the same thing. She may be a spectre now but that doesn’t make lack of armor, heels and hair in your face a good idea. She is also a soilder, not one of the light classes so you don't even have that excuse.ddman12 wrote...

I do not think it s her casuals at this point TBH tho it’s not impossible that it still is. In ME1 you still had combat ready soldiers on board I think? It’s not impossible that she hadn’t had time to put on proper gear but the guy next to her was already suited up when the attack hits.
Edit: I can't type.

My issue with that is isn't she on the Normandy the whole time Shepard is running around with Anderson? That's...plenty of time to change.

I would very disappointed if Bioware don't give an armor to Ashley; But it's impossible for me that they do this mistake. It would totally change it.
First they learned the lesson with the many complaints of M2 ( imo, proof with Miranda ), and even in M2, there were alternative clothing.
Then on the screens Shepard has also civilian clothes, it was probably during the trial.
I am confident.
The only thing that bother me a bit, is the high heels. ell, Maybe too much mixed to the mini-skirt ( what i like ) but I can deal with it.

Not if she died in ME2. Just put her as a tech expert during the Suicide Mission, and she'll probably drop like a sack of bricks.

I hope so...I have a fear that her armor will only be apart of the AAP. Which...wouldn't be horrible but bleh.
Shepard though just got to the Normandy. Ra only knows how long Ashley was on the normandy and decided changing into armor while the mecha-chutlu were attacking wasn't a good idea.

In all honesty, Ashley's new outfit (boots not withstanding) is not only more practical, but less suggestive than light armor in ME1. At least it has padding, for crying out loud. Plus, it wasn't made by Kenner.
And secondly, on the Ashley thread, the very first post has fan art of her in an evening gown which, while tasteful, is more revealing than the new outfit. The lesson I'm taking from this is that just about anyone can gussy up Ashley... Except the people who created her. That carries a penalty of public flogging.

And the outfit Shepard runs around in seems to have the alliance symbol.
