I can understand it being light armor

BUT WHY IS SHE WEARING HIGH HEELS!?
I mean if you wanna get technical about it those aren't high heels. Those are wedges. Miranda wears heels. Wedges are considerably more comforable and easy to walk in. Also they look to only be an inch or two high. No worries about some damn 4 inch stripper stilettos.

We already know that she'll be a Spectre in ME3. We don't know what her armour looks like though.

"Technical"? Those are high heels.
Stilettos and wedges both fall under "high heels".

So will kaiden get some buffed up butt cheeks?
Ironically, based on preview pics. Kaidan's gonna be in heavy armor.
That's right, the gung-ho "big guns and big armor" soldier is in the quasi-catsuit and the quiet, thoughful sentinel is a walking tank.

Holy nitpicking batman, I'm sure if we keep digging we'll find something to dislike about this character.

Ashley doesn't have to wear more practical clothing than Miranda in order to be better than Miranda.

I'd love to believe the catsuit is Ashley's casual look and all squadies will have separate Normandy and battlefield outfits but I very much doubt it.

as a woman, I hope her alternate appearance pack involves something that looks a bit more like armor. you know, ala Miranda's alternate appearance look.

eEither way that foot wear isn't proper for a soldier fighting in a war.
I can't believe we even have to say that.

Both women are strong females who are able to kick ass.
Ashley just happened to be more practically dressed in ME1.

Hopefully we'll be able to customize our FemSheps like that... I'd give Bioware my firstborn for it.
Well, not really but I'd really appreciate it.
PS: Besides the long hair and light armor... is it too much asking for high heels, too???

I'll give you guys the benefit of the doubt but so far I am not pleased with the aesthetic direction of putting female squad mates in frack me outfits while the dudes get actual armor (and femShep).... **eye roll**

For the sake of equality that would be great, except I am not holding my breath for it. Yes I am being negative Nancy on this. The rest of the game looks fantastic though.
