How can I take this guy seriously as a elite marine? He looks like a linebacker and a serial killer! If this is your idea of a savior of the universe, BioWare, then your game is in trouble!

Dude? They are showing cleavage. You see those lines there? The ones over the sternum? Thats called cleavage. Miranda shows it, Ashely shows it. They both do. To not show cleavage they would have to raise their suits some mate.

So, this is what our default Shepard is going to look like?

Show me cleavage? I see none. I know what cleavage is, I see it every day.

@Bluko: It just saddens me that after all this years and all the push for maturity and 'games are art' Bioware still heavily relies on stereotypes, putting Kaidan in heavy plate and Ashley in a Catsuit after giving her a breast enlargement.

As do I mate, now quit acting childish. Miranda does indeed have cleavage. Or would you like to call it something else? I can call it the valley if you wish.
I will admit its not a large amount of cleavage like you would see at most fancy parties now a days, but its there.

Explain to me how she has 'breast enlargement'

Considering how characters in ME1 used stock body models, I'm not really opposed to BW changing the physiques of the characters if it differentiates them or makes them more unique.

You do realize that her body in ME1 is universal right?
Does that change anything? I think Liara shouldn't need an enhancement either ...Obvakhi wrote...
If anything, Shepard's & Liara's got bigger in ME2.

So Mirandification makes one more unique?

Edit: Ah just looked at your image. I admit she does not have cleavage, which makes it all the more confusing why she has so much empty space above her breasts.
Still Miranda more than makes up for her lack of cleavage in other areas as has been over multiple times.
I will maintain that Ashley has cleavage however, that collar goes to low, and her breasts are too high not to.

well, it was her own request:

I am just making a joke here. I have always loved Ashley, the way she was in ME1, but I also like her new look. Until we know more about the actual changes they made to her character, I refuse to discuss the matter seriously...

I think that all this could be solved by having all the characters come with two possible combat appearances. One that's perhaps a bit more risque and one that's more practical.
That way if people want a no-nonsense Ash they can have her. Or if people want a Kaidan that's in more form fitting armor, they can have that too.
