Mass Effect: Real life futuristic alien realistic simulator

Mass Effect 1 was realistic in these things. It was ME 2 which bring high heels, space boobs and breather masks.

Just try to understand that please. Then you´ll understand "complaining" of others.

Yeah that's totally unrealistic. i think Mass Effect should only include realistic things. Now excuse me while I go fight the giant sentient machines coming to whipe out all life in the galaxy. Woops, i died, good thing we have the technology to bring me back to life.

As long as i keep my hair in a bun.

Mass Effect 1 was all the better because Ash wasn't a cameo you were forced to ignore.

Just sayin'.

I agree, I can understand the people don't like the new look Ashley ! it's just a game ! and Miranda has long hair, where is the problem ?
Ok Ashley is military but she is a women and she can more feminine ! I know friends girl are military in reality has long hair !!

The only problem I have with the long hair is having it go in her eyes when she's fighting if it's hanging loose.  She's spectre now so I don't think she has to go by military regulations any more, and if she has a helmet when we go on a mission, that will take care of it.

Anyways, still drawing a blank on this twitter thing. <_<

It's just a game Image IPB and the army the womens are too long hair

I am always offended by the comment "its just a game" - why should this medium of entertainment be taken less seriously than other forms of media? Is it wrong to hold videogames to the same or higher standard than say, cinema?

Also, woman may have longer hair in the armed forces, but they ALWAYS pulll it back when in uniform/expecting combat.

Maybe because she was all those things in Mass Effect 1.  I couldn't stand her at all. She pretty much was a racist in all her elevator conversations with Garras, Tali, Liara, and Wrex.
She was ignorant for like 95% of the time and the only way to make her unignorant was if you were male and chose to romance her (which I've only done 1 time out fo 5 male shepards).

And she was a b**** because of the way she treated Liara and even other characters throughout the game. The whole love confrontation scene provides a perfect example of why some people practically despise the character.

I hope her attitude has improved for the better in ME3 otherwise i think her being a Spectre is a huge joke (especially if the council is alive in your ME Universe).

But that's all I have to say on that subject. I'm not agains people being pro humanity but her utter disrespect and complete disregard for the other squad members was just insulting to me.

Wasn’t most of the elevator banter static? Meaning that no matter who you had in your party, it would be the same conversation? I remember a conversation about Tali and the geth and both Kaidan and Ashley had the conversation with her about it.
I didn’t see her treat anyone badly. Image IPB

Then you obviously were'nt paying attention...

Cuz while the topic may have been the same thing like for example the GETH or fighting Saren or the "ugly looks that Tali just got back there" the responses that squad memebers had to said topics WERE radically different depending on who was in the party.

But again I'm not going to go into specific detail. I've already wasted way too much time on this nonsensical thread.

Ashley was a pure **** and racist thats why I was glad to leave her on Virmire almost each and every time.

That decision wasn't really as difficult as Bioware wanted it to be. When one squad member is friendly and open minded yet is clearly devoted to the cause of humanity versus one firebrand racist my way or the high way hot mess of a person I'll choose the former all the time.

Ashley is only alive cuz I'm curious as to how she'll play out in ME3.  So hence I tragically had to sacrafice Kaidan in 2 out of my 10 Shepards....1 femaile 1 male.

See, the problem is that this makes sense within the context of the story. Ash's new design has no such justification.

Because not everything in real life is fun. That's the majority of movies aren't realistic in any way either. There are games out there that you can enjoy for being serious and as real as possible, and others that blend the line between semi-realism and fantasy. Mass Effect is that game.

A series like this can have otherworldy elements happen, but they still try to establish the feeling of being grounded in reality. ME1 had an established lore, ME2 changed it up to try and make it look flashier.

We still don't know the context, either. All we know are a few frames,

Shepard's technomagical ressurrection was a far more grievous breach of believability than Ashley letting her hair down.

Not everythign in the has to make logical sense (i.e reapers and mass effect fields) but small things such as realistic combat attire and dress code can help pull the player into a more immersive universe.

She fought pretty damn well though eh? Wasn't even wearing armor.

And why do you bring up space vaccuums? Can you name a time where someone was in a space vaccuum without a helmet? Planets and ships are not vaccuums.
