Mass Effect 1 was realistic in these things. It was ME 2 which bring high heels, space boobs and breather masks.

Just try to understand that please. Then you´ll understand "complaining" of others.

Someone must have missed Chora's den in ME1.

I didn't realize the workers at Chora's Den were supposed to be soldiers.

I don't argue against sexual elements in a game,  I just want them to be used at the right time.
i.e. Not in combat.

There are some differences between a strip club and a battlefield.

Not in the future! It's a bright place indeed. B)

Then you obviously were'nt paying attention...

Cuz while the topic may have been the same thing like for example the GETH or fighting Saren or the "ugly looks that Tali just got back there" the responses that squad memebers had to said topics WERE radically different depending on who was in the party.

But again I'm not going to go into specific detail. I've already wasted way too much time on this nonsensical thread.

Ashley was a pure **** and racist thats why I was glad to leave her on Virmire almost each and every time.

That decision wasn't really as difficult as Bioware wanted it to be. When one squad member is friendly and open minded yet is clearly devoted to the cause of humanity versus one firebrand racist my way or the high way hot mess of a person I'll choose the former all the time.

Ashley is only alive cuz I'm curious as to how she'll play out in ME3.  So hence I tragically had to sacrafice Kaidan in 2 out of my 10 Shepards....1 femaile 1 male.

The conversation Kaidan and Ashley had with Tali about the geth were exactly the same. Maybe you didn’t pay attention. If you had paid attention to the conversations concerning Ashley, you wouldn’t have come to the conclusion she was a racist or that she was a “hot mess”. I would even go as far as saying out of all the human teammates in Me1 and Me2, Ashley is the most stable.

I am speaking about combat and soldiers, especially in space. I have nothing against "exposed skin" where is it appropiate ;)

Right I forgot about Benezia. She didn't make much too much sense to me either, but at least she is a biotic and not a soldier who despises catsuits.

Mass Effect 1 was all the better because Ash wasn't a cameo you were forced to ignore.

Just sayin'.

I not sure I understand what you're saying.

He's sayin' that ME2 had a small cameo of Ash, which was stupid and disapointing. In ME1 she was full-time squadie. Which was better. Image IPB

Benezia was involved in heavy combat and was quite skilled at it. Even asari comandos didn't wear armor.

Just a thought here ( I think I heard this earlier on the thread) but maybe her hair's like that cause she had to leave in a hurry from some important event where she had to look presentable but still look official cuz y'know, the reapers comin out of nowhere an' attacking earth with the local defenses being unprepared.

Am I missing something here? not being snarky I just usually miss something (like my grammar)

She wasnt soldier, but diplomat. And she wasnt exposed to vacuum either. Strawman harder please,

Also read something on suspension of disbelief.

And why do you bring up space vaccuums? Can you name a time where someone was in a space vaccuum without a helmet? Planets and ships are not vaccuums.

Yes, every place our squadmates visited with breathermask had nice warm weather and it wasnt cold here at all.

The absurd character design started in ME2, but it's come and gone. Now we've just got ME3 to debate.

Made total sense to me; she is a very powerful biotic and along with shields has plenty enough protection without body armor.

The tech of the Mass Effect universe allows for people to rely on shields more than armor. Do some people prefer to wear armor as well? Obviously, Shepard does and so do a few others. But other people like Jacob, Thane, Miranda, and Ashley opt to wear light armor better for mobility and use shields as their main protection.

Surely you can see the logic?

That would be nice, but if the past is any indication, I don't expect that.

@diskoh: Sorry, I edited my post before you responded :)

It is a possibility, but after ME2 a lot of of aren't confident that this will be the case.

The logic of running in high heels while wearing restrictive spandex in a gun fight, or exposing skin in a toxic environment where your shields may fail?

No, I really can't...

Well, technically, combat in space isn’t realistic either. Can you imagine taking damage, especially bullets in a pressurized suit? ME1 had armor that wasn’t realistic either really.

Were you aware that the armors have "restrictive spandex" underneath the plating?

Are you saying you want Christina Norman to stop posting ME3 info on twitter?
